Hi, I'm in a 10-team each-category league and I'm comfortably sitting in the second place quietly preparing for playoffs. Our trade deadline went by but I wasn't able to get a shooting guard, a glaring need for my team, because I have none. My team is strong in basically everything but FT% and assists. Free agents shooting guards are Gary Harris, Joe Harris and Danny Green. My options of dropping are Jeff Teague (I don't need assists in the long term) and Kenrich Williams (I have full active roster for his next three games, he'd stay on bench for basically a week). I'd like to make a move today because Mirotic is in my IR spot and I'd like to keep him there to see what his new role is. Do I stay put? Do I move Teague for GHarris and see what happens? My chances of advancing to playoffs are very good but playoff berth is not yet guaranteed. Thanks for you help!

Hi sloCJ, I would recommend looking at Joe Harris. He's averaging 27-31 minutes a night and he's an outstanding free throe shooter 86.7% (one of your needs), the only problem is that Levert is back. Before you pull the trigger on anything I would decide if you are going to punt FT% or assists. Once you decide if you are better off punting one of those or try to improve both of them, then look at your options. I think you should probably stand pat for the moment and keep a close eye on this weeks games.
I'm not sold on Gary Harris because of his health issues. It's going to take a lot of time for him to get back to 100%
Good luck!

Hey Coach! Thanks for the response. Right now I'm not punting anything because the format is each-category (I'm not strong in those two categories), but for playoffs I plan on punting both FT% and assists (sorry for the misunderstanding - those two cats basically don't matter to me ROS). I was looking at Joe but I'm not sure if he's just having a good stretch the last few games or will he keep it up. As for Gary, I'm not sold either. I had an on-off relationship with him this season and I'm not sure if I should give him another chance or just call it what it is.

Is Teague really your worst guy? He's been dominating since coming back from his lingering injuries...

Considering my team build he kinda is. Other end-of-bench options are Ariza and Kenrich. Anyway, appreciate the input, I've decided to stay put for the next few days to see how everything plays out. Thanks!

Smart move! Check out the games this weekend and then shoot me another post next week with which way you are leaning. We need to get you a championship!
