I'm in a 9 Cat H2h, 10 team league and am considering dropping one of the following for Mirotic:

WCS
John Collins
Larry Nance

Only wrinkle is that one of these three (including Niko or not) will need to be dropped once IT2 gets healthy in the coming weeks. I guess I value season ending value above current short term

WCS's role will continue to grow as the season progresses and Randolph comes back to Earth and they build for the future...so, the ROS value you're looking for is strong with this one.

Collins should return tomorrow and should be in the starting lineup and getting all the run he can handle, as ATL also looks to develop youth as the season progresses.

Nance shares time with Kuzma and Randle, and I see Kuzma being the best player to own of the three right now and for ROS value. Nance is doing nothing. I don't get the hype around him.

I'd drop Nance without batting an eye, but that's just me.

Thanks Capt. I agree with the first two assessments. The deal with Nance is his efficiency. He's a top 70 player on the strength of stls, fg% and TO. That's his value right now already in the 22 min timeshare. He arguably has the highest upside regarding injury but it's outside his control and can include his own As well.

ThNk you for the additional perspective

I love Nance but he will always be injured and can't play big minutes for long stretches. Also his stats aren't gonna push your team over-the-top. Drop Nance is easy for me.

Anytime, bro. I'm just not a fan of Nance or his situation. In the last two weeks, Nance is playing 23 mins with 52% FG (but only 6 attempts), no triples, 6.8 pts, 5.8 rebs, 1.5 steals, 0.3 blocks, and 0.7 turnovers.

While a small sample size and Markkanen limited, in his last three games, Mirotic has played 29 mpg, putting up 24 points, 6.6 rebs, 62% FG (on a volume 14 attempts), 3.6 triples, 0.6 steals and 0.3 blocks (these should go up). Sure the scoring and triples are not sustainable, but he's probably the best scorer/1st option for CHI (at least till LaVine returns) and has a chip on his shoulder, where Nance is maybe the 7th or 8th option in LA.

Just giving you some numbers to consider, maybe Nance's one extra steal per game is what your team needs, but for me it's a no-brainer.

Mirotic vs Nance...Mirotic has ALL the upside.

I think I'm dropping Nance. He's a safe top-100 guy, but Niko ... well, all y'all know how I feel about my boy.
