With the news that Gobert is probable tomorrow, I'm facing a dilemma.
I currently have Isaiah Canaan stashed in an IL spot even though he came back last week, and now that I need to move Gobert off IL that means I'll need to drop two players to move him back into my lineups.
Here's my current lineup:
Isaiah Thomas Cle - PG
Trevor Ariza Hou - SG,SF
Elfrid Payton Orl - PG
Josh Richardson Mia - PG,SG,SF
Gorgui Dieng Min - PF,C
Bismack Biyombo Orl - PF,C
Karl-Anthony Towns Min - C
Richaun Holmes Phi - PF,C
Kyle Kuzma LAL - SF,PF
Spencer Dinwiddie Bkn - PG
Bogdan Bogdanovic Sac - SG
Danny Green SA - SG,SF
Ersan Ilyasova Atl - SF,PF
Khris Middleton Mil - SG,SF
Skal Labissiere Sac - PF,C
IL - Alan Williams Pho - PF,C
IL - Seth Curry Dal - PG,SG
IL - Rudy Gobert Uta - C
IL - Isaiah Canaan Pho - PG
My current thoughts are to drop Canaan instead of putting him back in my lineup, then dropping either Danny Green, Gorgui Dieng, or Richaun Holmes to bring Gobert back. I was leaning towards Holmes a few days ago, but I still don't trust Embiid to stay healthy and I hate Danny Green's percentages. I could also drop Dieng but I like his steals/blocks numbers even if he isn't contributing much else.
I guess this is a convoluted way of asking which two should I drop out of Canaan, Green, Holmes, and Dieng?
Thanks!
Canaan for sure.
Then I'd probably opt for Holmes, only because he's just not playing. He even had a window and missed it because he was pooping his pants. Although if you can sit on Holmes without it hurting your team, then my vote changes to Dieng. Green figures to keep doing just enough to be relevant since Kawhi is out forever.
Thanks. I went ahead and dropped Holmes, as much as I didn't want to. I'm currently in 8th fighting for a playoff spot.
The good news is apparently I don't have to move Canaan out of an IL spot, so I'll stash him in case another player gets injured! (Wish it were Holmes instead)
