Hey Hoopballers,

I'm not sure what to do with Whiteside here and was seeking all your advice. I'm now starting to get worried that Whiteside will fall into a far less favorable situation either via trade or Nurk's return. As a top-5 player on the season, this production would be hard to replace, not to mention, the void he would leave in blocks and rebounds would completely change the outlook of my team as I have been consistently winning those categories the way my squad is built. I feel that my league is too smart to just try and "trade him away for similar value", they stay updated on trade rumors and would see this coming a mile away. Am I too late and should I just hold and pray for the best?

Rest of team is:

CP3
Lowry
Bledsoe
Sato
Derrick White

Covington
Jerami Grant

Whiteside
Drummond
Noel
Clarke
Nance

I really don't understand why the Blazers would trade him. They need a center. Nurk will not play normal minutes this season. All that to say, unless you're willing to sell at a discount of current value, you just hold on for the ride.

Hold and ride, most likely, unless you wanted to try to move him for a similar type center with less uncertainty (like a Capela, Gobert type)

Appreciate the advice guys. What if I could flip him for Holmes + 1 small/medium piece?

I cant see Nurk doing much BUT Holmes + 1 is a good idea.
