Some people dropped Thad Young and Gortat for some reason but I'm guessing I won't be able to pick them up since I'm currently 11th in the waiver order. This upsets me greatly but I'll try to grab them when they clear waivers on the 21st anyway.

Only one IL spot is gonna be annoying. I picked up Jabari for $1 so I hesitate to drop him/slide Holmes into the IL spot but I'd be open to suggestions on how to handle that.

Here's my current roster:

Russell Westbrook OKC - PG
Kyle Lowry Tor - PG
Tyler Johnson Mia - PG,SG
Donovan Mitchell Uta - SG
Josh Richardson Mia - PG,SG,SF
Maurice Harkless Por - SF
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Cha - SF OUT
Kyle Kuzma LAL - SF,PF
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson Bkn - SF,PF
Marquese Chriss Pho - PF
Anthony Davis NO - PF,C
John Collins Atl - PF,C
Richaun Holmes Phi - PF,C INJ
Jabari Parker Mil - SF,PF INJ

Players on the wire I'm considering picking up:
Thad Young Ind - SF, PF (as mentioned)
Marcin Gortat Was - C (as mentioned)
Wilson Chandler Den - SF, PF
Caris LeVert Bkn - SG, SF
Jonathon Simmons Orl - SG, SF
Ish Smith Det - PG

My initial thoughts are:
1. I know I should drop Kuzma but since it's a keeper league I'm slightly hesitant. I'm guessing he should be the first to go though. But it's the Kuz!
2. Thinking about dropping Tyler Johnson for Caris LeVert or Wilson Chandler but that leaves me with three PG eligible players (and six SFs).
3. Dropping MKG instead for either of those players since he's currently MIA for unknown personal reasons.
4. Not sure who I should drop for Young/Gortat if I'm somehow able to get them. Do I swap Holmes for Gortat or hold him and drop someone from another position?

Thanks!

Also have Terrence Ross and Danny Green available since they've been mentioned in other threads recently. I don't really trust either of them but I guess I don't trust Ish or Simmons either.

LOL @ Dan.

Would probably also help to know their prices - some guys like Jabari @ $1 wouldn't be worth dropping since it is keeper.

Basically all the droppable players were cheap. $5 added to any keeper each season.

R. Westbrook OKC – PG $65
J. Richardson Mia – PG,SG,SF $16
K. Lowry Tor – PG $30
J. Parker Mil – SF,PF $1
A. Davis NO – PF,C $58
M. Chriss Pho – PF $10
J. Collins Atl – PF,C $1
D. Mitchell Uta – SG $4
R. Hollis-Jefferson Bkn – SF,PF $2
K. Kuzma LAL – SF,PF $3
M. Harkless Por – SF $1
R. Holmes Phi – PF,C $1
T. Johnson Mia – PG,SG $1
M. Kidd-Gilchrist Cha – SF $0

Gotcha about the values. The top 3 guys on your wire that would make sense to grab are Thad, Ross, and LeVert. Probably the safest bets to hold season long value, imo. Gortat has faded the past few seasons... unless you want to grab him and sell high, but then he's still on your wire so folks may not care about him, lol.

TJ is the easy cut, great stat set, but MIA's rotation seemed very set outside of JJ losing mins to foul trouble.

If you got MKG for $0, I'm guessing no one really has interest in him in your league, he's away on personal leave, so you could drop him and then re-assess once he comes back, whenever that may be.

If there's any kind of trade market for Parker I'd look into a 2 for 1 involving him. He's cheap, and his name may garner some value, it's a crap shoot as to what he'll be when he comes back - that IL slot is your friend in H2H, having it locked up provides issues like you're facing with Holmes. Ideally you could pull a 2 for 1, slide Holmes into IL, and make a pickup.

Speaking of Holmes... judging on the players available on the wire, either the other teams are not tuned in, it's a shallow league, or both. You hopefully have a feel for your league, and if Holmes would get snapped up or just hang out on the wire until he's closer to returning. That's probably the deciding factor on whether you drop him or not.

Kuzma.... the enigma, lol. We won't know what his real role is until a few games in to KCP actually playing. Lakers look crazy fluid right now, almost the west coast Nets when it comes to playing time... and if he shows out, then you've got yourself a hit, if the clock strikes midnight on him, your wire looks strong, so seems like a natural hold w/it being a keeper league, imo.
