Hey guys. Sorry if this has been talked about already but what's the deal with Lowry this season? I know his FG% and steals are down and will probably trend up as the season goes on but my concern is his FGAs are way down and his FTAs are at a career-low. I was reading about the Raptors increasing their ball movement and relying less on iso but I haven't watched any games to see for myself. Is he going to get back to 2nd round value like the last couple of years or has the change in system hurt his bumped his value down a few rounds? Ie. Do we buy low or do we avoid?
Cheers guys.
Buy low. He's going to be fine. The FTs might stay down if he's trying to preserve his body a little more, perhaps? The steals should come back and over the past week he's a top-30 guy, so he's already trending up.
Thanks Dan. Just to play devil's advocate though, despite posting top-40 over the past week, he's still only averaging 12 FGAs and 2.3 FTAs and he had a game where he didn't go to the stripe once. That's worrying no? A large part of his value over the past two seasons has been 80+ FT% on over 6 FTAs per game.
Yeah, that got him up to 1st round value. He probably won't get there, but he's sitting at top-60/50 and I think it'll get better than that.
Cool thanks. That's kind of what I thought. So then in trying to buy low would you give up BroLo and Jingles for him?
