I am in a H2H 12 team league with two extra CATS Field goal made and FT made.

Is time to drop him or hold on to him? My playoffs starts next week and I only have 3 pick ups per week

Based on that group of available players, I would hang on to Gasol. Check out the Raptors opponents and see when they match up against a talented big. They seem to utilize Gasol more that Ibaka in those match-ups. Gasol still has a healthy floor and ceiling.

Coach is correct, though. Gasol is getting his playing time against big centers, so if Toronto has matchups against traditional bigs, it would be a better week. Otherwise, could potentially stream that slot.
