Preseason doesnt count. Pels are one of the few playing their starters decent minutes, but they are playing against 2nd/3rd lineups most of the time. This is inflating ZW numbers.

Vegemite is all over it. 3rd round at earliest.

He’s a beast in the highlight reel with his dunks and athleticism which makes him really fun to watch, but being one of the funnest players to watch doesn’t necessarily equate to the best for fantasy. The eye test can be deceiving. He’s scoring in bunches, but his lines have been pretty hollow otherwise, and unless your league counts dunks as a category, I think you’re passing on too much value in other places if you take him in the 2nd round.

In rounds 1-3, ideally you want to come away with at least one elite point guard (or other player who assists a lot) if not 2.

So if your first round pick isn’t a PG or Yokic/Lebron type, it makes grabbing Zion pretty tough prior to round 3.

I think too many people are sleeping on Zion's potential to be a defensive stat magnet, he averaged almost 2 and 2 in college.

He'll probably come close to or even exceed 20 and 10 right off the bat with great fg% and probably decent assists. Only concern with him is ft% and lack of 3's, but even those shouldn't be too bad.

I took Drummond over him in round 3 last week and I got a feeling I will be regretting that decision all season. I think he could be top 20 or better this season.

I got Zion in the third rd of a pro-league on Monday, which I feel good about...but if you got Drummond in the third round that’s pretty friggin good too! I woulda taken Dre first tbh...

They way he looks right now, he has earned a 2nd round draft spot, period!
