What do you think his trade value is right now, and do you think it improves substantially as the season goes forward? I own him in a 12 team, 9 cat H2H league where I have a surplus of blocks and would really like to move one of my big men at some point for some assists, steals, threes, and FT%. The Bulls have a 3-3-3 H2H playoff schedule, which is why I'm eyeing WCJ as the guy I should move. But I'm wondering if I should wait to see if the changed circumstances (new coach, different lineup combos with the Bulls' injured players returning) improves Carter's production. Right now his recent game log has a lot of single-digit numbers in the point and rebound columns. Is last night's double-double a hint of things to come though? Is it worth holding him for now, to see if he starts churning those out regularly?
My roster:
Damian Lillard
Kyrie Irving
Malcolm Brogdon
Gary Harris
Jeremy Lamb
Kyle Anderson
Taurean Prince (IR)
Kelly Oubre
Danilo Gallinari
Clint Capela
Montrezl Harrell
Nerlens Noel
Hassan Whiteside
Wendell Carter Jr.
Wait a bit for the new coach rotations, last night was a good sign
I think you can try to shop him. He's going to play, but there's no way he doesn't take a TINY hit with Portis and Mark both healthy soon. Thing is, he's a rookie, so there will be ups and downs. Try to move him after a couple big ones, since nothing is permanent (good or bad games), and it all averages out eventually
Yeah, I'd just like to seem him put together a string of double-doubles that I can sell him off of. I think he can thrive with Mark but it's Portis I'm more worried about, eating into his rebounds.
