should one drop valanciunas? will he ever live up to his hype? drop for other wire options: dunn, dangelo(dropped), or chalmers?

He's definitely not a must-hold, and wouldn't say there's any hype surrounding him. I would 100% pick up Russell. He could be out months...or a couple weeks, but that's a guy with very high upside, opposed to Jonas' dull lines.

VAlanciunas is that guy who belongs in the fantasy "Upside" hall of fame. He's good for one good game and two crappy ones per week, guaranteed. YOu don't need the headache. You're better off getting someone off waivers like D'Angelo or just streaming guys until something better comes along.

I'm really proud of myself this year. Not only did I preach how awful JV is, but I finally listened to my own advice and didn't draft him.

He's probably droppable, though you could also do the matchup start strategy and just deploy him against opposing big centers (drummond, lopez brothers, etc.)
