Been offered Gibson for Turner.
How do you see their rank ros sitting?
I know Turner has been off because of his various injuries but he’ll still end up better than Taj by a large margin.
Gotta go Turner for the upside.
Does taj shooting 58% (higher recently) and 5 points up for grabs winthin 0.01 FG% change anything?
Turner also plays 4 more games ros, and i am short big man games played. There is also a battle in boards (5pts avail).
They probably bring you pretty similar numbers on the glass the rest of the way. Taj a higher FG% than Myles, since he's not taking any 3's.
Dan, either thankful or kind of scared depending on timing of your recording relative to this thread.
Literally 12 min into your pod today on the way to work. Very well explained, its not really a comparison of Turner for Taj but turner for taj + turner vs my worst player for the 4 game gap.
Side note: i have developed an avg tool as well, do you work with volume weighted FG/FT as well as averages for counting stats. Also, when projecting forward, have you built in games remaining and averages per player or do you just leave that for the more powerful computer based on outputs of end of average calcs.
Have been considering building the projection half into my tool but that inherently adds error into the output.
Haha, what did I say? I thought my only rant was on sweet, sweet Boban?
I don't have any projections tab -- mostly just eyeball that sorta stuff based on any changes I'm implementing on a day-to-day level.
A detailed discussion about the value of 1 for 1 trades and relevance of games remaining in a roto league (KAT vs other tier 2's). Very applicable to the Turner/Taj discussion, unfortunately (fortunately) i have Kat, Giannis, and CP3 (of the 4 tier 2 players) already so no action to be taken there.
On the Taj/Turner side, what if we balance it out a bit with Turner/Teague/Hield (or THJ or Jackson) for Taj and Sweet Lou. A more balanced outcome?
Oh right, yeah. Forgot I got sidetracked by that thought.
Yes, something to balance that trade does make sense.
