Hello. Everyone.
I was listening to the podcast and heard Dan was talking about Kyrie' value equivalent to 3rd player. I own Kyrie, and am in panic mode to trade him away to get big man. Please give me your
opinion on which choice is best among following options(Doesn't mean it will happen, but I will try). Or, if you think options are unrealistic or undervalue, please give other suggestions.

1) Kyrie <-> Vucevic
2) Kyrie <-> Kanter
3) Kyrie <-> Mirotic
4) Kyrie, Obure jr <-> Justin Holiday, Danny Green
5) Kyrie, Obure jr <-> RoCo, Jackson Jr.

Thank you.

Nah man, I said that's what you could probably get him for, though I'm not sure he hits his top-15 ADP. More like top-25, which is still late 2nd.

Don't trade him for those guys. If you want Vuc or Kanter or Niko you should be getting another good player back, too. If you want to trade him straight up for a center, should be someone like Gobert/Drummond

Dan

Thank you for such a quick and clear answer. I would love to get guys like Gobert or Drummmod but Kyrie is such under-performing now that I think I should hold on to him more until his value go up.
Between Gobert and Drummond, since their defensive value is God-level, who do you think has more offensive value?

When I see Kyrie's name next to guys like Vuc, Kanter, Miro, etc....it's always Kyrie. However, I do ask myself the following:

1. Will Kyrie be healthier than those guys? Lot of guys on Boston to help prevent Kyrie from getting hurt.
2. Do you need big man stats?
3. What happens if you take Kyrie's image out of the equation. Are his stats replaceable?

Pdadarwala,

Thank you for your answer.

1. Yes. The depth of Celtics would help preventing Kyrie from getting hurt. At the same time, it also would reduce his playing time and chance to improve statistical value.

2. I value rebound, block, point, ft%, and turnover. So, aside from ft%, I think I can say that I do value big men stat. (Punting assist, steal)

3. This is the most important question that I've been questioning since the season began. I value Kyrie' point and 3pt made stat with all other point guard value like assist and steal. As season progress, although it is pretty young season, Kyrie' point and 3pt value did not show the level that I was hoping for. And I think it is not just because he is rusty but also because his playing time is reduced compared to his average playing time in the past.
In the end, I decided to focus on more of big men stats(fg%, rb, blk) with points, 3pts, and turnover. (punting assist and steal).
