In a 12 team h2h league 9 cat. I'm currently tie for 2nd place and secured a playoff spot. The playoffs for my league start on week 22.
In preparation for the playoffs, I'm considering a trade where I would give up Devin Booker and Jarett Allen for Kyrie Irving. Additionally, I'm gonna pick up Cody Zeller off the waiver wire.
My current team make up comprise of:
Big men: Deandre Ayton, Myles Turner, Derrick Favors, Kevin Love, Jarrett Allen
Wings: Marcus Morris,Pascal Siakam, Kawhi Leonard, Tobias Harris, Bojan Bogdanovic
Guards: Devin Booker, Buddy Hield, Terrence Ross
I'm considering the trade because I fear that Devin Booker will get shut down and he also gets lots of TOs. Jarrett Allen, has been good, but his playoff schedule is not appealing and he will go up against some tough competition in the coming weeks limiting his effectiveness.
My hesitation with this deal is Kyrie's effectiveness down the stretch and the too many mouths to feed in Boston factor.
I’m pretty strong in fg%, ft%, rebs, blks, 3pt, pts, and tos. Should I do this trade?
I like the trade in a vacuum. Check on all your categories, but it's a nice 2-for-1 if you think Irving plays enough games the rest of the way.
But honestly, Booker might sit, too, so the 'rest' part is a wash.
