Would a trade of PG13 for Lou Williams and Lauri Markkanen be a good deal? My playoff schedule is weeks 23-26, so a little concerned about PGs # of games played.
Not sure if the other owner will go for it, but figured I'd check before I make the offer.
Thanks!
Wes
Hm. Not sure you're getting enough, there. Who is the guy you'd have to bench/drop to put Lauri in?
I'd be dropping Alex Len who is currently in my streaming spot. He's getting dropped regardless at some point this week. Figured i'd float a trade offer before that happens.
I already have Dipo, and Butler is on a team that's not about to trade. The only other person this guy has that I'd want is Gannis, but he ain't about to trade him. Another team has K..Waler, I might be able to go after... Other targets are on teams who seemingly have given up or who are making thier own push.
I mean, I don't really want to trade him for how good he's been playing. Plus he can slot into 3 positions which is VERY helpful. But I was considering your suggestion to try to move him him due to fantasy schedule (in this league). I should get into the playoffs but a bye week is unlikely without a really strong finish. PG has 4 games in the last week of my reg season that would be helpful, but once in, as you mentioned, it just goes downhill.
I also have Curry and Draymond who are likely to miss a few games each as well, so between those 3 i'll lose a few games from my best players.
I don't think you'll miss Len. It seems like Len has had ankle injuries since hes been in the league. Looks like you're pretty solid in steals and 3's with those other guys you mentioned. PG13 two best stat categories. You could prob get a little more.
Yeah, I guess for me it's about getting enough. Making the trade is a nice move to get out from under his bad schedule (worst in the league over the final 3 and a half weeks), but you also need to make sure the gain is worth it. A 1-for-1 would be easiest to pull off...
Thanks.
Maybe name like 5 - 10 players worth targeting. I only ask for so many as i'm sure a good majority of them will be on teams who gave up long ago/or teams making thier playoff schedule. I was trying to target the teams on the cusp of making the playoffs.
Oh and I only picked up lin for a game, maybe 2 for this week. He's gone regardless as he's in my streaming spot, lol.
Here is my full team if it helps - 10team, H2H, 9cats:
- Stephen Curry (PG/SG) GS
- Eric Bledsoe (PG/SG) Mil
- Victor Oladipo (PG/SG) Ind
- Paul George (SG/SF/PF) OKC
- Joe Ingles (SG/SF) Uta
- Draymond Green (SF/PF/C) GS
- Taurean Prince (SF) ATL
- T.J. Warren (SF) Pho
- Client Capela (PF/C) Hou
- Paul Millsap (PF,C) Den
- Austin Rivers (PG/SG/SF) LAC
- Larry Nance Jr (PF/C) Cavs
- James Johnson (SF/PF) Mia
- Allen Crabbe (PG/SG/SF) Bkn
- Alex Len (PF/C) Pho
I do really well in 3's and steals. The rest varies depending on who i'm playing again/how well my team is playing that week. Prince has a game or 2 left before I chuck him as well. Waiting to see how he does post break.
If 3's and steals is a strength, then you should try to make sure you can get some of those back in a PG trade. Kemba and someone else? Be very selective. Lou Will is sorta on a down-turn with the clippers suddenly healthy and kinda deep.
How strong are you in 3's and steals compared to the guys who you are likely to play in the early playoff rounds?
If you are likely to be able to cover them easily, then i would consider flicking PG for a different style of player to shore up another 2 stats which you mention are a bit of a coin toss.
2 cats and 7 coin tosses wont win you a playoff round. I would be selective based on likely opponents through the early playoff rounds to get into the money, then accept it will be a crap shoot in the final.
