Okay, so I was offered Bradley Beal for Draymond Green (my team).
9-cat league, I'm first in blocks by a large margin but I'm in dire need of points. I also have Rondo so the couple of assists I'd be losing are not concerning. Is this trade worth doing or should I try for a 2-for-2? As always, thanks fellas!
That's close. Current value, you're looking at the no.30 (Beal) and no33 (Dray) guys. If losing blocks doesn't bother you and you need scoring, this looks like the perfect move for you. They're pretty similar apart from those two cats, but Beal comes with the added benefit of 82% FT on 6 attempts per game. That's pretty significant for flexing your FT numbers. Beal is also at 1.9 3-balls per game this season, compared to 2.9 last year, so expect that number to go up too.
Furthermore, you have Beal as the #2 weapon in Washington opposed to Dray at #4 in GSW, so he's more prone to a dud here and there.
Actually, after some research and given your needs for scoring and edge for blocks, I think this trade is MONEY for you.
Go, cash in, bro.
So, as Capt notes, it helps you in cats you need, but you can also probably get more. So it's a balance.
I'd try to do a 2-for-2 and tell the other owner he needs to upgrade you somewhere else to make it worthwhile. If it doesn't pan out, then you can settle for this 1-for-1.
