Just won the draft lottery in my 30-team dynasty league, so get the first draft pick. I'm leaning Doncic. Who do you think the top fantasy pick should be?

This stuff is waaaaaayyyyyy over my head. Interested to see what the true dynasty-philes have to say.

Rookies are not my forte, but at 30 deep, I doubt you’d go wrong with Doncic.

Ayton prob has the safest floor and could likely avg close to if not a double double w a block per game right away depending on where he ends up. He has really good footwork too. Ft percentage shouldn't hurt you either for a Pf/C.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is my boy, he will be a fantasy stud and a hell of a player (His steal and block rates are very interesting), safe bets are likely DeAndre Ayton and Luca Doncic (But I just love the defensive stats too much).

Marvin Bagley will be a good player, not sure if he will have a ideal build for fantasy but he will be scoring and having numbers somewhere.

Then, there are gambles:
Mohamed Bamba (Gobert with some 3s, he isn't Gobert, doesn't have the strength and his motor is a big question, but he is a high IQ kid and if he can reach his potencial will become a beast);
Michael Porter, He would be fighting for a top3 pick if it wasn't for the back injury, all seems to be fine with his back and he have to potencial to be a really good player;
Trae Young, can shoot the hell out of the ball, he will be a fine PG with a bad fit or the can provide a lot of 3s and point somewhere also a underrated passing ability;
I personally, from the rest of the group like Wendell Carter, he have a good playmaking ability for a big, probably the best from the bigs at playmaking and with some ability to put the ball on the floor.

If I had the first pick and wanted to be clever about it, I would go with Ayton, he will dominate and even if he doesn't look like to be providing a lot of defensive numbers, he will be scoring with good percentages providing rebounds and some blocks, he also can add some 3s, he is a beast and he will be good.

My rankings:

1. Ayton
2. Jackson
3. Doncic
4. Marvin Bagley
5. Bamba
6. Michael Porter
7. Trae Young
8. Wendell Carter
