I'm in a 16 team 9-cat (8 keepers kept by round) keeper league where I really like my core, but unfortunately my 1st round pick is Kevin Durant. I think I can fight for a playoff spot but I doubt I could win with KD out all year.

Gobert has treated me well since we started the league four years ago, but I just made this trade...

Traded:
Rudy Gobert (3rd round)
Markelle Fultz (8th round)

Received:
Dario Saric (7th round)
Bam Adebayo (10th round)

I love Gobert and his top 20 upside but my reasoning for the trade is...

1) I am very big man heavy at the front of the draft which made it impossible for me to draft any early round guards, trading Gobert opens up a 3rd round pick next year.

2) I think my other keepers will make up for any loss in blocks between Gobert and Bam.

3) Bam is putting up solid assists at his position and fits the timeline with my other keepers.

4) Bam/Isaac/J-Rich as my 10th through 12th round keepers seems pretty baller.

5) Come on, seriously, KD/JJJ/Clarke/Middleton/Robinson/Bam/Isaac/Richardson is such a delightful core. Look at that lineup. Just look at it.

Please tell me I won't regret this trade!
