Hey all -
Just thought I'd open this bad boy up for anyone without Twitter.
Ask away and make sure to click the "NOTIFY ME OF FOLLOW-UP REPLIES VIA EMAIL" button so you can see why I respond (or when others post questions or answers)
The only catch is that when I post a link you all have to click it, no matter what it is. (wink)
Have at it, friends!
What the heck is wrong with Myles Turner Rebs?
P.s. I'm scared of what I have to click now...
You don’t need this thread you just respond to everyone’s threads anyways lol
Is Crabbe or WCS a better add season long? 14 team, 8 cat. Need 3's, assists and boards
How far into a losing season do you push before starting to think ahead to next year in keeper leagues? Any tips on how to manipulate other teams who are still focused on this season?
@DaJuice - He wasn't a HUGE rebounder last year. My guess is a slight improvement in that category that'll play itself out over the entire year. Thad is a decent rebounder, Sabonis is actually pretty good, and the guards are gang-rebounding as well. If he can settle near 8 we'll be fine.
@Vishal - but now I can see what I said 😉
@Joseph - Crabbe gives you 3's, WCS gives you boards, and neither does a ton in the way of assists, though Crabbe has a slight edge. For me, it's WCS for overall production, but if those 3 categories are the priority, then Crabbe is your guy.
@AnnaKarina - much later than right now, unless things are truly, truly dire. I'd say January. At that point, look for the teams right on the cusp of moving into that top tier and be honest with them. "Hey, I'm looking toward next year; let's make a move." People respect honesty.
Dan - will you trade Otto Porter for Clint Capela in a 9 cat league? I have Jokic and turner as rebounders but pretty barren after that. What's your season outlook for both? They are both unique as they both efficiency guys.
Which pg are you picking up for next month or two: Frankie Nil, Rondo, or G Hill?
@Nikky - I'd prefer to have Otto, though Capela has been putting together a magical start. I think Otto finishes the year about one round in front, but truth be told they're both overachieving and I don't think that stops any time soon.
@Brian - nice question! For the next month I'd go Hill, then Rondo, and Nilly last. For the ROS I'd probably move Nilly ahead of Rondo. Hill is top choice either way just because we KNOW he has top-50 potential in him. He's showing some signs lately. Nilly should have a nice Feb-April.
Hey Dan, what do you think about Jonathon Simmons? Is he worth a hold? How do you see his ROS turning out?
@deki - Terrible fantasy stat set. If he cracks the top-150 I'll be pretty surprised. No threes, minimal steals/blocks. He's basically just points and FT%.
Dan,
Collins or Henson in 9cat after Collins blowup game today?
Does it just come down to statset needs?
Hey Dan,
Drop Keef for John Collins?
Thanks!
@keiran - Collins seeing a ton of time alongside Dedmon was very interesting. He's someone you sort of have to add if he's going to be playing 30 mins, though I'm not positive we see this level of activity every night. Collins is a pts/boards guy, but at good %s so that level of playing time means he'd be the guy.
That being said, this could have been a move to deal with the Pau/LMA combo. I think I'd go Collins over Henson because of John's horrid FT shooting, but Henson has much more appeal as a blocks guy.
@alex - no. 'Kieff isn't even at full strength yet, and when he is, he's a top-75 guy. Collins needs everything to break right to get to that mark. Find someone else to drop.
