A strategy often used in fantasy is to try and assemble teammates onto the same fantasy roster. This is used to 'hedge your bets', where if one player drops off or is injured, the other should pick up the slack. I'm not sure how good of a strategy it is, but it exists nonetheless. An example of where it is seen a lot is people who draft Giannis in the early rounds will often look to grab Middleton with a later pick.
Is this a good strategy to employ?
And which pair of teammates are you most excited to try and draft into your team?
Note: Curry and Durant is an invalid answer
I love the pairing of Oladipo and Collison this year. Value to be had with both hopefully
I definitely don't, at least not on purpose. If I end up with two solid players on one team, so be it, but I'm not hunting for it. And generally I don't have the roster space for a handcuff, if we're talking that direction.
Give me BPA or give me death!
It's not something I actively go out of my way to do at least as far as any synergies of being on the same team is concerned.
However, when it comes to handcuffing, that's a different story. The only way I would draft Embiid with a gun already to my head is if I knew I'd have Richaun Holmes as insurance.
My pet handcuff-combo this season is Patrick Beverley and Milos Teodosic.
