I am having a difficult time deciding on what to do with my team. I want to build a well rounded team, but I have opportunities to get more talent but make me weak in rebounding and blocks.

Trades offers I have:

My millsap for CP3 (offer already in my queue, just need to accept)
And
Thad and Ingles (or ariza) for Al Horford (owner is on the verge of accepting)

Originally I was just going to get Al horford to help with rebounds and get out of position assists by trading away my plentiful steals. But then someone offered my CP3 for Millsap so it kind of throws my strategy out of wack. I am also hesitant on giving up millsap because I think he'll be one of the better centers this year.

Thanks for any advice/suggestions.

12 Team standard 9 cat Punt FG/TO

Team:
Boogie
Lillard
Millsap
Schroder
Ariza
Ingles
Thad
JRich
Dedmon
THJ
Bogdan
Ulis (stream maybe keep)
Bojan (steam)

IL:
Richuan Holmes
Milos

If you are in a league that has guys happy to trade then I am a fan of getting better players as can always just onsell them for more suited guys for your team later. Still early days in the season to play catchup in categories

I tend to see it as you can have a rounded team that compete but don’t have enough to win enough cats to win a matchup.

Or have a team that’s guaranteed to win 2-4 cats and you only have to stream and compete for an extra 1-2 to win a matchup.

Right, but I think there’s such a thing as too stacked in categories. Like I might be if I take cp3. it would be hard to steam a bunch of bigs if I’m already at a big deficit

Hmm. So trade now, get the most value possible through these sell highs. Then trade later once you have a feel of what players are worth to build a good team?

If you can make THIS much headway in a trade, you do it. Always. Cp3 is 2 rounds better than Millsap. Make the trade, watch CP3 look awesome for 2 weeks, and if you don't want his stats, you can flip him for another late 1st/early 2nd type.

Obviously if you are hugely over stacked then look to trade. But look to trade for cats you’re closer to winning in matchups.

I think take CP3 regardless. Who’s on your waiver that’s a big?

And do the other trade as well to get Horford? That’s a big jump in value as well.

Wait. I am having buyer's remorse. Tell me I didn't make the wrong moves. I feel like I am too weak in steals now compared to the league.

All small category issues can be solved with waiver wire moves or more trades. The key is that you're stockpiling the best assets.

I don't think you lost out on blk with the trades and reb is easy to supplement off wire. Congrats on both trades
