I know it seems HB is high on Prince and low on Evans, but I wanted to check in on this. The guy in my league was shopping Tyreke, so I assume he's nervous about the trade like everyone seems to be. I keep waiting for Taurean to finally cash in on this potential I've heard so much about, but it seems we get flashes with a generally inconsistent player. Would you try and trade Prince Evans straight up or in a two for two like Irving and Prince for Lillard and Evans? How much more do people like Prince than Evans right now?
They are 42nd vs 115th in terms of per/game averages on the season. Sure Prince will hopefully put it together better as the season goes on (and others are traded away), and Tyreke's usage will be lower wherever he ends up, but I'd still definitely want Tyreke over Prince.
I was leaning this way too, but the hoop ball rest of season rankings have Prince at 40 and Tyreke at like 128 so that gave me a lot of pause.
I actually think they're relatively close post-deadline. Prince should continue to see opportunity, maybe even moreso if Atlanta moves guys like Ersan and Belinelli. Evans obviously loses touches regardless of where he goes, but he's still probably going to have SOME standard league value.
Well as a proud owner of Porzingis, Brogdon, Hardaway Jr, and Olynyk I decided to move Prince for Evans, because why not at this point. Maybe I'll get lucky and Evans will land in a spot that he holds his fantasy value, seems like a risk worth taking at this point. Somebody give me a reason to keep trying to win because this is about as defeating as it comes. I was so excited for basketball to start because I was sick of all the injuries in football and basketball always has less injuries, yeah right!
