Hey, guys, I have this team, the league a care the most. It's a 12 team league, 12 player roster. 6 Players max playing each day, daily pick. It's PG, SG, SF, PF, C and utl setup. The rest is benched. It's also FGM, FTM, 3PTM, OFreb, DEFreb, Ast, Stl,Blk and TO. My team is: Rubio, Bledsoe, Middleton, Lebron, Vucevic, Gobert, Valanciunas, Osman, Collison, Thad Young, Gay and Hield. I would like to ask you hoopballers your view about the team, please. Since the NBA today is so much 3point and I have a regular team, I was thinking about punt this cat, so including Hield and another player to be stronger in other cats. What kind of move could I do? Thank you all!!! Have a nice season!
You have a very nice team, no need to punt 3-pointers. You've got Hield and Middleton who should be borderline elite this season and your other bigs, excluding Gobert, also should a fair amount. Don't do it, nice build. If anything you should punt assists, but I wouldn't recommend.
I would wait for about two weeks before really deciding on a clear path, since your build is quite balanced.
Hi, Avery, thank you for sharing your view about it. Since is a 12 roster league/12 team, there is a lot of potential good players on the waiver. And I think that in this setup, streaming is still more valuable, because the difference between the guy coming and the one you are giving up is almost none. So, I was thinking about a 2-1 trade. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you!
Sure, if you want the person you send the offer to will hate you forever, go ahead and offer a 2-for-1. Never worked in my league, for anyone. Ever. People are not stupid and you might have to end up offering more than you should.
I pulled two 2-for-1s last year so it can work. You just have to be patient and not low-ball other owners.
Can also do the pseudo 2-for-1 when you throw in your opponent's worst player to make the numbers match up. Then they don't feel that they're getting gypped (ideally at least).
