Personally, I’ll take Trae by a wide margin.

Steph will probably finish higher in the rankings this year due to his higher FG and lower turnovers, but in H2H, turnovers aren’t really something you should factor into your evaluation much because ideally your aim is to have more games played than your opponent any given week, and with more games played, you’re usually not worried about turnovers.

Secondly, Trae’s almost a decade younger than Steph, is on the rise, while Steph is on the decline. Trae bounces back from injury incredibly fast, while Steph sits out on the mend for weeks at a time.

Finally, in H2H, Trae is more of a difference-maker in assists (at ~10/gm to Steph’s ~5) and in high-percentage, high-volume FT: 10 gm at 90% are going to balloon your team’s FT a lot more than 5/gm.

Especially with your format being dynasty, the choice for me is an easy Trae.

Trae’s a game changer in a keeper league. Love Steph this year, but Trae long-term is a no brainer!
