Hello. Picked Steph up at week2 in my h2h 16t 9cat league because I knew I will make playoffs with streaming anyway, but because of that I will be low seed ~5,6. Playoffs start next week and he is ruled ou of tuesday already. So at best I get 2 games out of him. Im thinking it is most likely a drop for SAS player to get some immediate help for my 1/4 matchup. But rest of my team is healthy and whoever is my opponent, all have at least 1 injured player, so thats why I am not sure if I should gamble holding him or just go the safe route and drop? Have streamer spot already. Have always won my leagues with being aggresive dropping injured players and streaming but Steph could easily win my league if I get over 1/4 final with him, on the ohter hand if I loose season is over, Help me decide smart people 🙂

Since your opponent will also have an injured player, it’s a pretty level playing field if you think you can take him straight up.

If you want to get serious, run the numbers. Calculate your players’ average stats multiplied by games played. Do that for your whole team vs your potential opponent’s and see what are likely to be the swing cats.

I’m fine with a drop of you’re up against the wall, but it sounds like you might have a shot even by holding. I would run those numbers and if it looks like you can win 5+ cats, I’d hold longer if you can afford it.
