Why is KAT the best player in the trade?? Are you going by ranking or potential??

Basketball Monster has DMC ranked higher then KAT.

Both ranking and potential. Per Basketball Monster, KAT is #9 and Boogie is #10 (on a 9-cat per game basis). KAT has the better all-round 9-cat stat set with no holes, while Boogie hurts you in TOs, FT%, and mildly in FG% but he makes it up in more volume of popcorn stats. Also he has needed Brow to be out for a few games to post monster lines to boost his value so he's really a bit of a sell-high guy. KAT has been "disappointing" so far this season and he's still #9 so there's really nothing but upside from here. That's why he's the better player for fantasy.
