Team is sitting in 9th in a 10tm roto 9cat league. Have carried a lot of i juries so far and have about 20-30 games in hand on most of the league.

Team is:
Lillard
Leonard
Satoransky
Richardson
Siakam (inj)
Holmes (inj)
Collins
Turner
Robinson
Dunn
Teague
Napier
Lee

Top in FT and 5th in FG (alot of missed big games), low in counting stats.

Is it time to shake things up with some aggressive trades, or is this likely to rectify itself once all the injuries get back amd play enough to reflect on the board?

Thanks in advance.

What you need to do is make an excel spreadsheet with AVERAGES for each category as opposed to totals... then you'll know how your team would stack up if you weren't 30 games back of everyone else

How did i know you were going to say that? 🙂

8th in the standings based on averaging alone. However i am not confident this fully reflects my team. ie. The current per game averages include the fact i have had a top 20 player missing all season (Collins/Siakam/Holmes). How much impact would an extra top 20 asset have over the remaining 40% of the season?

Bolted on some sensitivity assessments (+5% of X = how many points.) to work out a plan. Time for some aggressive trading! Strategy formed: Punt boards and target high FG, three point shooting, Defensive stats and assists. Boards are out the window and i'm so far ahead on FT and TO i can sacrifice a bit. All going well i should be able to salvage a top 3.

Throwing a few filters on my rankings, I'm looking at going aggressively after guys like: Joker, KAT (dice roll) Butler, CP3 (risky), Hield, Jrue, Lopez.
We have a fairly big penalty for last, so rolling the dice on big injury plays (Irving/KAT) could end badly, but could solve the issues well.

Who are your top guys to fit this build?

I think you can assume most other teams are missing someone too, so I wouldn’t build too much into the injury factor. High percentage guys who hit some 3s and get defensive stats aren’t too easy to find. Easier, I think, to make sure your guards have a high fg% and make sure your bigs get defensive stats... kinda make it a 2 pronged approach

Just traded Turner + Dunn for Brogdon and Bertans. Was a relic offer i had which got accepted overnight. But isnt a bad deal.

Would you trade Mitch Rob for Bledsoe?

Might also be able to get Bledsoe and Middleton for Holmes? Is that enough ROI on Richaun?

Bledsoe feels like a nice fit for your build, and if you can get BOTH of those other guys for Holmes you have to do it.

After a days work, the team is now:
Lillard
Harden
Brogdon
Satoransky
Richardson
Siakam (inj)
Holmes (inj)
Horford
M. Robinson
Bertans
Teague
B. Brown
Lee

Got an offer of T. Thompson for Teague. Thinking i'll take that and ride him till the wheels fall off for FG upside.
