I'm currently in a bit of a predicament, I have oladipo in my IR slot as well as Collins SSP, since vuc has gone down i've been playing 2 players down and really struggling. Without a concrete timetable for a return for oladipo i'm considering giving up and trying to trade for a player that is active currently. Would love some opinions.

Don't do it! Just hang in there - we're only in week 6. A few more losses can be countered when you get THREE top tier guys back.
