My team is off to a rough start due to injuries to Jlin and AG but is slowly bouncing back. How do you think I can improve? Week 2 is off to a good start with gold lines from Simmons and Embiid. Dwade needs to step up and hopefully Kris Dunn will have a nice season...
What are your opinions?
Also looking to drop Tyson for Marquese Chriss....how do you guys feel about that?
What guys are available? Perhaps we could do some slight tweaking.
The waiver is pretty dry given the amount of activity in this league... everyone is a fantasy NBA nerd (including me)
Here are some top players available on the wire:
Dillon Brooks
Dedmon
Sabonis
Ryan Anderson (just dropped)
W. Hernangomez (unsure if he will get playing time)
Winslow
Patty Mills
Austin Rivers
J. Simmons
Tony Snell
Jamaal Crawford
Mudiay
Thon Maker
Tyreke Evans
Garrett Temple is also available...
Separately I got a trade offer of Aldridge and Lonzo for Embiid. I am leaning against this offer due to Kawai eventually coming back and I think we'll start to see Aldridge's production fall...Lonzo is also just inconsistent. Any thoughts here?
Don't take the trade. Embiid is worth way more than those 2 guys put together.
In terms of moves, I'd hold Chandler for as long as he can board it up. Wade looks pretty old and slow and will probably take some games off, so I'm not sure how much value he has. Grant will turn into a pumpkin when Dunn comes back, but you're already good there.
Oubre likely loses most of his value when Markieff returns, too.
Seems to me you need to find a way to get Chriss. He's a solid guy with big-time 3's, steals and blocks potential.
That makes sense Dan. I am thinking of giving up Jerian Grant and Dwade for R. Holmes (as a way to hedge Embiid). Adding Chriss if my waiver spot 10 works out.
I like the Tyson for Chriss move. Wade fell hard since joining the Cavs. I dropped him for Mike James in my 16-team.
I think moving Wade to the bench will be positive for his production.
You may be right. I just feel like the Cavs are going to go LIGHT on all their vets. THey've shown many times they don't care about the regular season.
