My first year of fantasy, 12 team and 9 cat standard, have done well enough so far but want to optimize what I should be looking for going forward. Draft strategy was best players available, didn't punt a cat explicitly but leaned towards guard stats.
Lowry
Lou Williams
Kemba
Eric Bledsoe
Josh Richardson
KD
Danillo Gallinari
Tim Hardaway
Rudy Gay
Enes Kanter
Cauley Stein
Bogdan Bogdanovic
Barea (streaming)
Barton (IR)
I know that Kanter's carrying my REBs, WCS is hurting on my FT%, Lou will/THJ are hurting FG%, and KD leads my team with 27 blocks followed by JRich's 14, but I'm not quite sure what I should be trying to do going forward. Should I make a 2 for 1 trade somewhere and get a star + streaming spot for Barton? I have a really good record and my worst cats (FG, REB, BLK, TO) are 3-3 on the year, luck or sustainable?
Thanks friends, been a fan of the site since Bruski was on Cowbell Kingdom and I try to listen to the Hoop ball expanded universe.
In general, you should always try 2-for-1 to clear up space in H2H, especially so with Barton coming back soon.
I think those look fairly sustainable- KD boards and blocks like a big, though those cats will had greater variance week to week. Could always try to get one more high efficiency big to be solid in more cats.
Gallo is an injury risk so maybe you can package him in a deal.
