I'm used to playing in 9cat h2h leagues, but I'm going to be playing in a h2h weekly pts league for the first time this year. I've been doing research, and after I ran the numbers, these player rankings are melting my brain...

The scoring values in this 10-team league (13 players per team):

Pts 1
3-pts made 1
Rbs 2
Asst 2
Stls 3
Blks 3
DD 10
TD 50

So right away, this league favours players who can get double doubles, and triple doubles are super valuable.

My projections say that Westbrook is easily the #1 player based off these scoring values!!! That hurts my head just thinking about that, but I guess Russ is still expected to get a lot of TD's still this year.

After Russ, it goes:

Giannis, Jokic, Harden, LBJ, Towns, Davis. (then there's a gap).

I have the 4th pick in this draft. This is an ESPN league, and according to ESPN, Russ' ADP is 14.6. If I was thinking that Russ' numbers take a hit next to Harden in Houston, maybe the rest of my league will too?

Do I pray that he drops to 17 and I can grab him with my second pick? Or do I have to follow my math, trust the numbers, and take him at 4?

I don't know how smart this league is that I am in, and if there are other's who have done as much research as me.

Russ #1?! Maybe my projections are wrong... haha

I think you just skip getting cute and take the guy you have to take. I'm probably going Giannis over Russ (I don't think the triple doubles are NEARLY as often this year), but I also don't think he's falling to 17 in that format.
