I don't really have a question. Just wanted to use this moment to thank Dan for releasing that schedule breakdown at such a clutch time. Helped me work through some streaming options the last pair of weeks as I make an epic push for the playoffs.
I was able to add Slowmo at the back end of last week and squeeze out an extra pair of games. This week however, I was looking for the right time to drop him and get an extra game from a Blazer or somebody with a B2B over the weekend. That's probably tonight. BUT, with Kawhi already ruled out for Thursdays game I feel like he might have a better opportunity for fantasy success in this 1 game versus the Pels than maybe an Aminu would have against the Cavs on the same night. So, still mulling it over, but I might wait to pull the trigger after tomorrow's game.
So what did I learn? Look ahead. Use the schedule grid. It's your friend. Look at match-ups. Consider the availability of guys on the teams your streaming players from. It helped me to set my roster a week in advance to see what days I had empty spots to fill and who/when to make a cut (Nuggets have a game every other day, but adding one wouldn't have helped me if I have better quality players/games on the same nights they play).
You are MOST welcome.
And yes, always plan ahead. Sometimes you can just 'outhustle' the other teams in your league even if your team isn't as good. I definitely moved from 2nd to 1st in my big money league last year because of clever game usage. That's money in our pockets.
Totally agree with you here. As for a Slow Mo, I added him as well and with news that Kawhi won’t be back Thursday (and who really knows when),I’m definitely holding him for thursday’s Game and going from there.
