Bottom of my roster at the moment is Richaun Holmes but the recent rumours about Kanter being shipped make it seem like he's out sooner rather than later.
Drop Richaun for Luke Unikornet?
Holmes has the safer floor, but Kornet has more upside in my opinion. Depends a bit on where you are in the standings and value of FG% vs. blocks.
Side note: if you have an open IL spot, I would stash Mitchell Robinson right now. I LOVE his upside if Kanter gets moved.
Wow thanks for this post! I didn't know Kanter was in trade talks!
For arguments sake, let's say I'm winning the league so far and value FG% and BLKs equally, though would lean towards help in the FG% department.
This makes me think Kornet; I'm not that high on MitchRob when he comes back but open to being convinced that he's the pickup over LuKorn.
All you Mitch Rob fans.....GO!
Can you pick up both? I feel like if Kanter do get traded to the Kings then both players are must own.
I don't think I can get both. 13-team, 3 bench spots, roto:
Active: James Harden, Jrue Holiday, Clint Capela, Khris Middleton, Danilo Gallinari, Serge Ibaka, Jamal Murray, Trevor Ariza, Thomas Bryant. Elfrid Payton
Bench: Robert Covington, Jonas Valanciunas, Richaun Holmes (only player droppable imo)
JV just got an update that he is out for 4 more weeks. I feel like Kornet and Robinson becomes more valuable than Bryant no? if Kanter gets traded that is.
Interesting perspective. Pick three of the following right now (team is top of league and can afford to wait/stash):
Thomas Bryant
Jonas Valanciunas
Richaun Holmes
Luke Kornet
Mitchell Robinson
Right now, I'd stash JV and keep Bryant. Holmes/Kornet/Mitch are all the same. Once Kanter gets traded, ill go Kornet, Mitch, JV. Once JV gets back you'll have a much clearer view on who's more productive between Mitxch and Kornet. keep in mind JV only average under 20 MPG prior to his injury.
Yoo if you have to pick up J.Lamb for either D.Rose, M.Morris(BOS), or Sato who would u drop?
I think we both agree Lamb is better than all those dudes, but I also think they should all be owned.
I dropped Rose in spot where I was desperate for health. Sato hasn't been great so far but I'm tryna hold him wherever possible.
I'm not a big Marcus Morris or D Rose fan, they seem to do much the same thing. Lots of efficient points with threes and a few rebounds/assists respectively. Lamb will do that too when healthy but with a bit more defense.
Final answer....sadly I think d rose is the drop.
Solid take. Initially I wanted to drop Drose and keep Marcus due to Thibs firing, then I thought about dropping Sato instead cuz of his last few games. I'm in a shallow league so its different when it comes to players value.
Curry
G.Harris
Trae
K.Dunn
D.Rose
Sato
Kawhi
Covington
Sabonis
Morris
Markkanen
Capela
Gobert
Nurk
To complicate things, Sato looked very nice today. Man that is a solid crew. Adding lamb is a priority I think since you have really strong big men and quite good guards, but your swingmen might be suffering with Gary and RoCo battling injuries.
Is Trae more valuable than DRose? I haven't really been tracking him
