In a race to make the playoffs, currently 9th and top 8 make the playoffs. I’ve been trying to trade Love as I have to win the next 3 weeks by large margins to have any shot at the postseason. I’m not getting any takers, the best offer I’ve gotten is Marcus Smart. Should I do that? I know love will be valuable in a few more weeks but he’s useless to me now. Even the guys high in the standings aren’t biting as they think he will be limited and:or shut down. Do I make the switch?
If I lose next week’s matchup i’m Definitely out the playoffs. That’s my situation.
I can also possibly get Huerter, Kleber. So it’s between those three. Would you accept any of those deals in my position? In what order?
You are in a terrible spot brother! I guess you are forced to try to stay alive. I think I would go Smart because Kyrie is down. It's to bad you can't get Rozier.
Good luck!
I can maybe ask for Rozier. Isn’t Kyrie’s injury minor? That’s why I was thinking Smart over Rozier since he will have a big role even if Kyrie is playing
Kyrie isn't seriously injured but they will be careful with him. He tends to take games off. It's a toss up.
Wondering if I should just stream this spot. Thanks for the help. Really tough situation, was expecting to squeak in and afford to wait on Love. Any change he plays decent minutes this week?
Latest:
Kevin Love will not return on Friday night.
It's just a precaution with Love being out for 50 games. He played just six minutes, making 1-of-5 from the field for four points with one rebound, one assist and one foul. He is not going to play on Saturday, so his fantasy owners could be in for a bumpy ride to get to the break. Still, it should be worth it.
Your call bro!
I'm betting Love plays about 10-12 mins Monday and probably 15 on Wednesday, then ramps up toward 20 after the break and as high as the 26-30 range by March, but not sure you can wait that long.
In 20 mins, though, he's easily a useful guy...
