Who should I try to trade JJ Redick for if i am looking for a more all rounded player with an emphasis on Rebounds, Blocks & Steals
10 team league H2H 9 cat
On a H2H points league, Kornet or mitchell robinson?
Interesting. I don't think I would take Gasol back either.
What about Jimmy Butler? He is really starting to worry me sitting out random games, although he is a solid fit for my punt assist build. If I do trade him, what type of return should I be looking at?
14 team 9-cat H2H league, currently first in the league by a considerable margin and pretty much a lock to get into the playoffs.
Im punting fg%, so im thinking of trading away vucevic for beal. Should I? thanks!
I’m the commissioner of a 10 team league. I don’t believe in vetoing trade unless there is collusion involved. One owner tried to trade Lowry, Vonleh, and Draymond for Embiid and DeMar! I vetoed it because the trade isn’t of equal value (ROS, 30-season day avg) in any way and the Lowry owner is upset. The day before I did make a trade with the last place owner, giving Bledsoe for Dipo and the next day the Lowry owner tried to pull his trade off.
I didn’t like the trade before vetoing it but 4 other teams voiced their concern with the offer being accepted before I vetoed it. Their voices didn’t weigh on my decision but the “wronged” owner wants timestamped messages of proof and saying there is collusion on the other end.
Was I “right” in making that call to veto? Erik, Dan, Bru, HBers, what would you have done?
1. I like Zubac's recent trend, so I'd go with him first.
2. Mitch Rob has nice upside but has shown is still too raw this season. - Will be a sleeper next season. You read that here first.
3. Crowder has a solid schedule and a cemented role in the rotation. I would pick him second after Zubac.
Some options for you to consider are: Jeremy Lamb (hard), Marcus Morris (doable), Thad Young
Assuming both are healthy, Kornet. As of now, Robinson
That's both a good for you (improved schedule) and an easy sell (current rankings). Good move. Do it.
I run two leagues as the commissioner. I like to think that I have a loose range when it comes to letting deals pass through. Equality or fairness DO NOT factor into my decisions. I only accept managers who are competitive and make moves that are almost-always geared towards winning.
That said, a commissioner's veto is subjective and if done for the sake of maintaining whatever it is he's preserving in the league, whether it be trust, competitiveness, in your case fairness, it's good - as long as it's not self-serving. On that note, I do not think you made the wrong decision, because your heart was in the right place and it was with good intent.
Personally, I would have let that trade through. It's lopsided but not utterly ridiculous like, say, a Vonleh-for-Embiid 1:1 deal. There is still value flowing the other way in Lowry and Green, even though the side receiving Embiid + DeRozan is winning.
I hope this discourse was useful to you. Feel free to ask more questions as you deem necessary.
I agree with your concern. He's fools gold in fantasy. Has nice per-game numbers but sits too often to be of legit value. The move is to trade him after a big game. A top-30, if not, a top-40 player should be someone to swap for him, depending on his market value in your league.
On that roster spot im looking to stream, so i ultimately picked faried over robinson, but i was also looking for zubac. What do you think?
In a vacuum, I'd prefer Zubac but let's see how Faried fares in the next game or two before making a hasty switch after just his first game as a Rocket.
