Yeah man, that happens in competitive drafts but you nailed your first 4 so all hope isn't lost.
Great stls, very good FG and pretty good rebs. FT, TO and blks about avg unless Bamba blows up end of season. Can use more 3s.
Pts and assists your weakest cats- you can use Taj and/or Rozier spot to make adds.
Damn, that's a lot of cats!
Elite blocks and FG, with very good steals and rebs. Good 3% but need more, avg. TO, FT% and low FTM outside of Curry.
Looks like punt assists so after that you need points the most.
Excellent FG and steals w/ very good pts, rebs, 3s. blocks okay but not spectacular.
FT and assists your lowest cats (outside of punt TO)
Hey Chef hit me with that team analysis.
This is a H2H 16 team, 8 Cat no turnover league. I has the 13th pick out of 16 in a yahoo snake draft, so it was very tricky but I think I made out well. I think I'll be deficient in fg%. I think I am fairly balanced everywhere else, but I am open to any and every advice and analysis from
anyone. Thanks ! I'm trying to win this year. I know I reached way early on Donic but I think he can finish inside the top 50 So I bet on upside
So anyone you think I should trade would be appreciated too, someone already wants Bamba so early haha.
Round Pick
1. (13) Victor Oladipo PG,SG
2. (20) Kevin Love PF,C
3. (45) Luka Doncic PG,SG,SF
4. (52) Paul Millsap PF,C
5. (77) Kris Dunn PG,SG
6. (84) Nicolas Batum SG,SF
7. (109) Mohamed Bamba C
8. (116) T.J. Warren SF
9. (141) Nerlens Noel PF,C
10. (148) Wayne Ellington SG,SF
11. (173) Avery Bradley PG,SG
12. (180) Danny Green SG,SF
13. (205) Moe Harkless SF
Each Pts leeg has slightly dif setting so hard to make a call on total points but these are your strong/weak cats:
Super steals with avg to good in every other cat except blocks which project to be your lowest cat.
Super good FT and 3s and very good steals, good blocks.
FG, pts, reb, asts, all good to above avg. will have to wait til seeason gets going to see which end up stronger and which you want to focus on.
Ha, sometimes it happens like that when chasing value but not a biggie in roto.
Your 3s aren't elite but not too bad.
Crazy steals (you can afford to lose a few if you trade), very good assists and blocks. FG a lil below avg maybe.
Everything else is pretty good based on projections- we'll see in the season which cats exceed or fall short of projections and then you can address it.
Dedmon and Poeltl are kinda the same player so maybe you can trade Dedmo to help with needed cats.
Thanks! Yeah, I was hoping to grab Poeltl in the 13th round so shore up my blocks, but he went a few picks before me so MitchRob was my backup.
Very good FT, steals, blocks and 3s. Rebounds look avg but when Isaac and WCJ get more run later in seqason it'll probably look fine.
Fg, TO, and points avg with assists almost a soft punt.
Your strongest cats by far are both %s. TO actually arent bad but yeah need lots of blocks.
Everything else is kinda similar- above avg in 3s, pts, rebs , assist and a lil lower on steals.
when season starts and you see how your squad does against actual teams you can see which cats to focus on.
Super stacked blks, stls, assts, fg and Reb.
Pts avg.
Punting ft, 3 and TO.
Considering your assists are so high I'd trade/dump Lonzo or Payton and try to get more points.
As for the 18, depnds on if anyone falls unexpectedly. If all the Dipo, Kawhi, Jimmy etc are gone and you're picking near the turn you can start to think about a punt build there in h2h.
Nice job; there are a good 6 cats you're great to very good: Stls, blks, 3s, FT, assts, and lastly points. Those are the def 6 cas you should make sure as beefed up as possible.
Rebs better than avg but not elite, avg Fg and TO. If you can get a 2-for-1 trade and still keep those 6 cats, you can free up a roster spot to stream / add hot guy off waivers.
You have a lot of value consolidated in the top-7-
Strongest in steals, assist w/ very good rebs and pts. Above avg 3s but not elite. Pretty good FT.
Blocks is the lowest counting stat (punting FG).
since there's a lot of value up top you can play aroud with the end of bench guys and drop who is isn't performing or helping as expected.
No problem taking guys you like- if everyone drafted from a list, you'd have no margin to win.
That's good re: Bamba but don't trade now- his valueis only gonna get better (watch out for playoff sched h2h yahoo tho).
Thanks Chef! I’m fine with ditching Sabonis and wasn’t too sure about JJJ or Olynyk, hence them being my last picks. I did miss out on guys like Doncic, Valenciunas, Ayton, Kanter, and Prince but I’m happy to hear who you think I can try to target and sell in order to boost those missing stats. Also open to punting a category if I’m that weak in rebounds.
Olynyk and JJJ can def help your stats, but i don;t think they'll be that effective rebounding.
I'd consider punting yeah.
Kinda hard to give you targets now (unless you know other owners that hate their team and might sell low). when the season starts look for guys you like that have gotten off to slow starts and maybe you can get their owner to give me up relatively cheap.
