In today's day-and-age positional flexibility is huge for rotation guys, so it's weird how they restrict people to one position. Wow, You weren't kidding. People fell to insane lengths it looks like. Your team is honestly loaded. Did Paul fall to the 7th? That couldn't be any easier of a pick. You got value all around and should be primed to finish among the top teams. As far as the Bridges thing, is this a weekly league? Because you should be able to replace them whenever you want. If it is a weekly league, go with who has the bigger slate/better matchups for the week. Or if you want to make up ground in a particular cat that week, then go with the guy best suited (while using the slate and matchups). You could use more boards if I had to nitpick, and I'd look to try and get another guy who can get some. But man this is a strong team.

The 3p% add-on won't particularly help you with some of those later picks, but it is what it is. Your crop of bigs are awesome and you should dominate in boards. Blocks will be a strength of yours as well and with the guards you have, you can throw in assists as well and steals. I think you'll be one of the better scoring teams too with a good ft% This team turned out pretty strong with a lot of good value in those picks. CP3 as a fifth-rounder and Cartter/Rubio as just inside the top 100. This team turned out pretty strong. I'd be very happy with it entering the year.

Thanks for the feedback! Chris and Kevin did fall into my lap, I just hope they don't get shutdown for any reason. Should be a great year.

Sorry about that. got too excited posting it. is a 15-team, 9cat roto league, . Everyone had max 3 keepers from previous season's draft. which resulted in some good steals like siakam at $4, beal at $37, ayton at $17 etc. This has led to inflated pricing in this season draft. With the element of being able to yet again choose 3 keepers for the following season, the price for certain young stars and inj stars were through the roof. I did gone a little desperate with miles because of the keeper element for following season. and Lamb were just pure desperation. He was the last starting SG in the pool at that point in the draft, and i arent too confident in having the likes of fultz, pat bev and eric gordon filling up my starting SG slot. And yes i didnt like zeller, cant wait for somebody in the wire that is worthy for me to do a quick swap. Am thinking of dropping zeller for DJJ atm..

Sorry I didn’t give all the information, yes it was an auction draft, so our keepers will start next season that’s why I got Kat and young, I didn’t mean to get lebron but I only paid $48 for him so I can’t complain there. And we took a utl off the roster so we can have more free agents seeing as there are a lot of injuries during the season. But thanks for the words of wisdom. Appreciate it
And also there a few guys on the waivers like Schroder, dragic, Thybulle, saric,Powell, white. Any of these I should take a punt on?

Hola Santino! It's an absolute pleasure to read all of these reviews you do on such a wide diverse set of teams. It amazes me how you don't miss a single post. None the less, here is my 9 CAT, H2H team. Part of a 10 team league. Be as brutally honest as you wish my man!

Round Pick Player Position
1. (5) Karl-Anthony Towns C
2. (16) Andre Drummond PF,C
3. (25) Jrue Holiday PG,SG
4. (36) Bam Adebayo PF,C
5. (45) Mike Conley PG
6. (56) Eric Bledsoe PG,SG
7. (65) Josh Richardson SG,SF
8. (76) Jonathan Isaac SF,PF
9. (85) Ricky Rubio PG
10. (96) Fred VanVleet PG
11. (105) Larry Nance Jr. PF,C
12. (116) Jeff Teague PG

My idea behind who I drafted was to have decent percentages across the board. I know Drummond shoots down my ft% but I think I drafted enough guys that will counter his poor shooting at the charity stripe. I wanted to compete in fg% as well. I ignored 3pt's, pts and turnovers. I wanted to dominate in defensive stats, rebounds and assists (4 categories). I think by doing that I can pull off the 5th and final category I need to win majority of the weeks. The last 5 picks I honestly was just drafting for value. I felt like a lot of value was slipping to me and it was too hard to pass up. How do you feel about my Bam pick? I was targeting LMA but he got snagged 1 pick prior. There was no way Bam was making it back to me so I reached a bit because I really wanted him this year.

Yes, a plethora of point guards. I just couldn't pass up on some of the value. I do want to point out that I am open to dropping any of the bottom 3 for a waiver move.
Notable waiver guys include: NAW, Marc Gasol, Brandon Clarke, JaVale McGee, Delon Wright, Dinwiddie, Taurean Prince, Zach Collins.

I had another team above from a week ago and drafted the 'boring' Davis team.

Second draft this season and I am much more excited about this team. I rushed the last couple picks, but overall am much happier.

12-team 9-cat

7 Joel Embiid
18 John Collins (I know, a reach but felt that he was best available - taken right after him Drummond, Turner, Vuc)
31 Paul George

After George, and by the time my 4th rd pick came around, I missed out on the run of mid-tier PGs so I decided I was going to become a punt assist team, so decided I would focus on FG RBS STLS BLKS TOS.

42 Lauri Markkanen
55 Mitchell Robinson
66 Josh Richardson
79 Mikael Bridges
90 Jeff Teague
103 Nance JR
114 Delon Wright
127 PJ Tucker
138 Jaylen Brown
151 Nerlens Noel
162 Willie Cauley-Stein

Kind of panicked with my last couple picks. Noel I am ok with the gamble, but already looking to drop Stein for another guard. I can see into the future that there will be days where I have to sit a PF or C because I have too many active on the same day...

What are your thoughts? Any suggestions on how to improve it?

Thanks in advance again!

This thread is pandemonium! LOL!
Thanks in advance HB team!

This is a keeper league (5 max). I've placed a "K" next to my keeper.

10cat (ORB/DRB), H2H, 8tm, 8th pick

1. (8) Damian Lillard
2. (9) Kawhi Leonard
3. (24) Otto Porter Jr.
4. (25) John Collins (K)
5. (40) Domantas Sabonis
6. (41) Wendell Carter Jr.
7. (56) Eric Bledsoe
8. (57) Jonas Valanciunas
9. (72) Buddy Hield (K)
10. (73) Jonathan Isaac (K)
11. (88) Mikal Bridges
12. (89) Delon Wright
13. (104) Dwight Powell
14. (105) Derrick White
15. (120) Jeff Teague
16. (121) Pascal Siakam (K)
17. (136) Mitchell Robinson (K)
18. (137) Davis Bertans

I wasn't able to snag a premier big man with one of my first two picks so I made sure to get some rebounding guards. My FT% is surprisingly in tact. Believe it or not I'm probably going to need some more DRB's to keep up in this league. Guess I'm punting assists, so maybe I can turn Teague in to something a lil later on down the road and free up some space to add the dreamy Richaun Holmes.

Thanks all!

Thank you, Santino! I’m planning right now to do a 2 for 1 trade. Gonna trade Porter + Hayward for JJJ. He already likes Porter but he says he needs a +1 so I’m still thinking who to add since he has a surplus of bigs and lacks some guard stats. If the trade goes down, I’ll probably just use the spot as a streaming one. Have a great season, Santi!

Hi Santino,

Thanks for all your hard work! Here is my 12 team, 9-cat roster that I drafted.

I wasn't planning on punting FG% when I picked Harden initially, but when Paul George fell to me at 23 I couldn't resist - and then punting FG% made the most sense to me. If PG comes back healthy and produces similar numbers to last year, I essentially have two top-5 guys in a punt FG% model.

In doing so, I kind of inadvertently punted rebounds but I think the team works nonetheless with elite FT%, 3PM, Steals and good blocks, reasonable assists (I think?).

Batum was a bit of a panic pick - if Charlotte hits the youth movement button I could see him benched a lot, but if he plays he fits my build and gets me a few assists that I need. I could see him and Thybulle being the first to hit the waiver wire with this team. Anyone to consider from the following: Maxi Kleber, Marvin Williams, Rajon Rondo, Bobby Portis, Dennis Schroeder, Tyus Jones, Robert Williams, Kris Dunn, Jerami Grant

1. (2) James Harden PG,SG
2. (23) Paul George SF,PF
3. (26) Draymond Green PF,C
4. (47) Robert Covington SF,PF
5. (50) Brook Lopez C
6. (71) Kelly Oubre Jr. SF
7. (74) Ricky Rubio PG
8. (95) Gary Harris SG,SF
9. (98) Serge Ibaka PF,C
10. (119) Nicolas Batum SG,SF
11. (122) Collin Sexton PG,SG
12. (143) Kent Bazemore SG,SF
13. (146) Matisse Thybulle SF
