Think team is solid in FT,AST,3PM,STLS, PTS. Lacking in big men.
G'day Santino, I appreciate all of your hard work managing through this. Thought I'd get your opinion too on my team:
Curry
Kawhi
Kyrie
Ayton
Valanciunas
Lauri
Conley
Cp3
Wendell
Roco
Oubre
Isaac
It's a 9cat league, I definitely need a SG (forgot to draft at least one whoops) is there any glaring weaknesses to fix with FA's or any trades you can recommend?
Hey Santino,
Thoughts on the below team for 12 team 9 cat h2h?
Harden

Lamarcus Aldridge
Prince
Vanvleet
Sexton
Pj tucker and
Jarret culver
Thinking of dropping pj for NAA or maybe coby white.
Thanks
Hey Santino!
Would love to get some feedback on my team on a 14 team standard 9 cat H2H.
I think my first half of my draft went well but not sure how I well/bad I did in the latter half. I was looking to pick up potential players but they were going off the list pretty fast! Let me know of your thoughts and how to improve this please!

It looks like you traded up for another first-rounder, and while the depth in the middle takes a crater having two top 6 guys is a big head start. If you've followed this you'll know I'm not bullish on LBJ at all. I'm not one to bet against greatness, and I'll give him a pass for the first time he's missed games in his career last season. Yes, he's 35, but you wouldn't notice by his numbers.
Again, the middle of the draft is a dead zone, Lonzo is your fourth-best player (I wonder if this was an auction, it sure looks like it and that's what I'm going to assume going forward). Your Raps look to be in a good position this year. Ibaka should get more PT this year and if he can rediscover IBlacka form, his value would jump off. Warren is a nice snag that late. And I know you aren't certain on the two rooks at the end but I think they'll ease your mind. NAW is going to start with a sizeable role now without Zion and the way he's looking could play himself into even more. Clarke is going to be a rebounder and shot-blocker this year, at the least. He's going to get time at both frontcourt positions and if one of the two in front of him gets hurt then he's a must-start guy.
The depth is going to be a concern (there's also only 12 players so someone looks to be missing, who may be a difference-maker too since the drop is so steep) and that'll come back to bit you until you can find another guy to help out. But on weeks where those top three have a busy week, WATCH OUT.
Hi Santino,
Thank you very much for your comments!
The top of the auction was Steph-146; Harden-141; AD-135; giannis-135; lebron-130; kat-126; jokic-122; embiid-105; kawhi-103; lilard-100.
I actually had klaw, drum, jrue last year and won the regular season and playoffs. I thought id be priced out on them but imo the value presented itself. if the turn is going to scare people off then there may be profit there. the added gap between picks in an auction creates additional appeal in getting a first rounder with even less equity spent. i am hoping there is the same opportunity in the spectre of load mgmt (counterbalanced with kawhi's seeming desire to play more).
Collins lamb harris and delon were value targs. tucker had a nice bump in the b150. culver was a flier based on some hype from other sites. looney and Olynyk i don't love but they should get decent minutes and solidify fg%, rbd, to, and blks which along with steals are the teams strengths. pts and trey i can battle on. ft% and ast will be low points haha.
thanks again!
18 teams is a deep one! Yeah, you have a solid deep-league base for bigs, but I'd try to get another one as well since you don't have much there, though I think your boards are going to be solid. Maybe a 3-and-D guy who can get 5 boards a game would be a better fit. Along with your steals and triples. Blocks look to be okay. And you've got some upside in points. In such a deep league you have a few guys that'll get 1, but another big would help here. Your ft% should stay pretty high as well as long as Capela doesn't take too many. Other than that there's really not much that you'll stick out in and that has to do with the league. You have enough to get some W's but the real impact is going to be on the waiver wire throughout the season and who is the first to get the out-of-nowhere guys who come through the woodworks during the season.
Wow, okay. Kemba and Mitch went earlier than needed. But Collins fell to the 5th and Paul to the 6th mostly canceling them out. Throw in Cov in the 8th and Love in the 9th and your value skyrockets! In a standard 10 teamer, most teams look strong but this is a legit one. Love was picked as a borderline starter and that's just insane. You're virtually strong in every category with no weaknesses and are a lock to make playoffs (health permitted). Strong team. Strong draft. Well done.
Thanks for the feedback Santino, yeah techs have been a cat in this league for all of our 11 seasons, the Commish is sadistic, itโs really annoying when you lose a week because someone felt punchy.
Thanks again 👍🏼
Baller fan from upside down
I wouldn't be so hard on it, I think it's a fighter with a lean towards punting assists. You can get both defensive stats and shoot treys with a strong ft%. You have lethal shooting big men, which pair well with your guards. Your points look fairly strong and it could be a lower turnover team. It wouldn't be my ideal team, but there's enough to work with here and like I said before you have a fighter's chance. AD may be in for his biggest season yet, and Booker is turning ONLY 23 next week. I'd try look for another rebounder with that last spot while WCS is on the mend.
Just finished my big money 14 team H2H auction draft. Each team has 11 players.
Punting 3s and ft%. Comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
1. Deandre Ayton $35
2. Bam Adebayo $30
3. Ben Simmons $32
4. Draymond Green $27
5. Demar Derozan $17
6. Steven Adams $17
7. Aaron Gordan $14
8 Shai-Gilgeous Alexander $19
9. Jaylen Brown $4
10. Justise Winslow $5
11. Dwight Howard (meh) $1
Last one....12 team, 9-cat Roto . Had pick #5 and I feel like I blew it. Not very happy with this team, but let me know what you think. My last draft was supposed to be my best! UGH.

I'm with you, I like H2H much more than roto. me.
Haha, it's been fun to see everyone have Thybulle the past few days after he wasn't on any rosters prior. Just shows you how fast players values shift. I like your big men group and that includes Giannis with them. You have a good amount of guys who can block shots and that looks like the strength of yours. Steals looks good too especially if Booker can take a step forward on the defensive side of the ball as he enters year four. Boards is another solid stat. You have guys who can score as well which help. Since it's a roto, and 14 men at that, punting would be a tough pill to swallow, so the approach you went with trying to get all the bases covered at a decent rate instead of some elite and some sub pars is recommended. Your %s look like the stats that can use the most help.
