No. It’s 14 team league with 12 player only. U mentioned I need reb and fg, so Poeltl maybe the one?

LeBron and Drummond were a great start with this format, even with the expected loss of points with free throw misses. Double-doubles and defensive numbers will more than make up for that. With Hield as a keeper, the 7th round is easy money value. Big points there. Some of the picks though are hard to see. Allen in the 5th and Barrett in the 8th the ones that stick out like a sore thumb for being extremely high. Allen is going to split the minutes right down the middle, he should be closer to double digits then 5th round. Barrett is an exciting young kid, and one that I've mentioned a few times here that I like, but that high takes all the fun and upside out of him. He's going as a bench player in almost all leagues, which is where the return on investment comes in. The negative points for misses doesn't translate too well for him. I thought your bench did pretty well and like a few of the fliers you took there. With the dbl-dbl settings and negative points for misses of any kind, it would have been ideal to load up on defensive bug men with a higher fg% and who get easier dbl-dbls. Preferably they'd be guys who get defensive stats. You have a solid team, but the format may play against your favor as the draft wore on.

Yeah he makes for a quality pickup to fill those cats as long as he's going to be given the starting job and a full allotment of minutes. If so, you could replace him with Cedi. Or Grant. He is good, but you'll be able to use what Poeltl brings more. If it doesn't look like he'll get that full allotment, he's not really rosterable in a shallow league.

SGA went a little too high (looks like it was a pick swap like you mentioned). With that out of the way, I love this team. PG13 in the 3rd pairing him with Harden and Trae! Awesome! A great collection of big men with Bam, Whiteside, Carter, and Lopez in the middle rounds. Len and Bertans as bench players to shore it up even more. Richardson is a good value as a borderline starter. You nailed every pick and put yourself in a position to crush it every week. This is a really good team set up to make a deep run. I'd ride with this squad all day. Great job my friend!

I saw this team and instantly wondered what happened to the rest of the league! Seeing 9 team made a little more sense, but still. (Side note: You gotta have an even number of teams, no one wants a bye week during the regular season!). Vooch as your 4th best player?! OH MY! Getting Butler and Vooch cheap is a game-changer especially when you have KAT and Kyrie already. You were better off keeping Bryant with how your team ended up panning out, but it'll still work. I'd do Lamb for Isaac every chance I got. Some very talented players on the waivers. Gallo needs to be owned by someone. To say he's not a top 100 player is nuts. You're able to replace him with Teague since you have a great guard collection already. You could go Bridges if you want as well, but I like his versatility and role as the best player on a bad team. You have a lot of points and the nature of the league makes most teams stick out as awesome with fewer players to go around. In this type of league and the fact that there is so much production left in waivers, the best thing to do is to trade for stars. Do 2-1s and 3-1s for your favorite top 30 guys and then go pick up the production leftover in free agency. The more elite guys you can stack up the better, and the back end of your roster still won't feel any effects from this.

The first 4 rounds are perfectly fine. Harris and Whiteside are regularly going in those ranges as well. Harris does come with a little more risk as Horford is there to take some of his boards away, but the rest of his value is pretty safe. Dipo at early 7 is a pick that you’re going to want back. This is real high for a guy who won’t be back until the new year and that’s with expected kid gloves and a minutes limit. This high bakes more risk than reward into him. He’s the only one that I’d say is a little too high for my liking, but the rest are pretty solid and going right where they normally do/should. You have almost the entire Pelicans starting 5 on your team and idk how that’ll play out on days when they aren’t playing. But with Harden and Zion on your team this is going to be a fun to watch squad.

Plus double-double and triple-double seems weird as only a few people get the latter a year and just one can swing an entire matchup. I like this team and would think it'd be higher if not for those 2 extra cats. You're likely to start off at 0-1-1 every week. The Zion pick as a lat 3rd is probably the latest he'll go and that I've seen, especially with the way his preseason has gone. It makes the pick much more comfortable. I think you have a well-rounded tea that can compete in everything. You got a lot of defense in those middle rounds which is salivating. Your team can score points, and shoot threes, get defensive numbers, and some assists. Rebounds and fg% are going to be trouble areas, but the rest looks pretty solid. You did well overall and maybe your league mates gravitated more towards that extra dbl dbl stat while you shied away.

Okay, that looks much better now! Also, I'd pick back up Clarke for Zubac. He has so much more upside and fits better on your team. I can see why assists would look lower, but you do have a handful of people that'll get over 4 assists. It's not a strength, but not a glaring weakness either. I'd still have taken LeBron over Lillard. You are going to be lethal in threes and scoring with good steals and a very high ft%. Turnovers and fg% will be lower with all the high usage guards. You could use more assists, rebounds, and blocks where you're middle of the pack at. Clarke helps in 2 of those. I think Russell went a bit high in at that spot, but I guess he can be changed with Mitchell. You have a pretty solid base for most of the draft with people going in their normal ranges and did well to give yourself five cats a week. I'd work at trying to improve the swing cats while keeping your big cats similar. You're in position to reel off wins, but a little help in those areas will go a long way to giving you the weekly advantage.

Kemba Walker
LaMarcus Aldridge
Jaren Jackson Jr
Lauri Markkanen

Thoughts? Any weakness or players I should put on trade market?

Hey, Glad you are doing this. It's interesting to read about other teams too! Hope you dont get drained keeping up with this thread.

14-team (13 player roster) 9-cat H2H

1 Anthony Davis
28 Nik Vucevic
29 Mike Conley
56 Kevin Love
57 Demar Derozan
84 Kelly Oubre
85 Jeff Teague
112 Delon Wright
113 Terrence Ross
140 Davis Bertans
141 Cedi Osman
168 Anfernee Simons
169 Tyus Jones

I drafted on Canadian Thanksgiving so had to sneak away from the family to draft on my phone, and ended up rushing the last 3/4 rounds. Feel kind of blah about those last picks but oh well. My first impression is that I'll be light on steals and assists. What do you think?

(How can a team with the first pick and Anthony Davis feel kind of boring, haha.)

Not really, just worried about JV this season especially post-ASB. Kept thinking I could've gotten Hayward, Ball, Rubio, or WCJ instead of him but he was falling and yes, I needed a big and he got good percentages too. Also liked his videos shooting those corner 3s. Hopefully it is something he uses this season. But overall Santino, you think this is a good team? I thought I was going to be strong in FT% but I am now worried about it. My steals are lacking so hopefully Looney, Fultz, and both of the Bridges help me with it. Only hoping that my late picks Looney, Bacon, OG, and Fultz blow up a little bit. Also thinking of grabbing NAW, Thybulle, Noel, Norman Powell, Kennard, Coby White, or Richaun Holmes to swap for my last 3 picks depending on what I need after 1st or 2nd week.
