Are you guys confident that Thad and Ingles are going to stay in the top 50?

I was thinking about shipping them for horford, but I am punting FG and TO. I also need to make room CP3 coming back.

Is this where I prioritize team build over player value? I think I need help in points, so maybe horford trade isn't a good idea?

Team:
Schroder
JRich
Lillard
Thad
Richuan Holmes
Ingles
Dedmon
Demarcus
THJ
Ntilikina
Dinwiddie
Ariza
Trevor Booker

IL:
CP3
Greg Monroe

If you need points and you're punting FG/TO then Horford + CP3 lose a lot of value. Also how many teams are in this league? Your roster looks stacked so I assume it's a shallow league, if that's the case I would go grab Horford because in shallow leagues depth is overrated as the wire is strong.

Any time you can package two guys in the 40's for a guy in the 20's, you do it. Go get Horford - he's a monster.

is that your steadfast rule? just make up the missing stats with waiver wire pickups?

This early in the season, for sure. Once we get part way in it's harder to make a blockbuster trade. But there's so much time left for guys to pop up on the wire.

Or hell, make the trade and then flip your newly minted top-20 guy for a different top-20 guy if you need different stats.

Thad's providing great value so far, but I don't see him keeping it up. I think he's had a solid hot start, but seems to be playing at an unsustainable level...just compare his stats from the last couple years. Then remember that most of his great games have been when Turner was out with the concussion. Then, you have Sabonis who can take minutes from Thad and they're considering playing Sabonis and Turner together, which really hurts Thad.

In the last two games, with Turner fitting back in, Thad's provided... tonight: 2/8 FG, 5 pts, 6 rebs, 0 assists, 3 steals, 0 blocks, 0 3-pointers. Sunday: 0-7 FG, 0 points, 5 rebs, 2 assists, 0 3-pointers, 0 blocks, 1 steal. Sure, it's a very small sample size, but I think the peak of his production this season is behind us, unless Turner or Sabonis miss time.
