These threads will provide daily news/updates and act as a sounding board for new players and experts alike. This will also be a spot where we can link to interesting shows (like the one Coach, Mike and Andrew H. are putting out every day) or other info we feel is worth highlighting.

CLE: Larry Nance Jr - OUT

• the Cavs are very thin up front - if Thompson is out we get big value from Henson and Zizc tonight
• Keven Love gets the biggest increase here if he's good to go.

• Drummond will be the man again and maybe for the rest of the Season with Blake Griffin out
• Doumbouya and Wood will have larger roles and decent mid range prices

MIN: Karl Anthony Towns - Questionable
• Dieng will start again if Towns is out
• Wiggins gets a usage boost if Towns is out

• Ntilikina will get major minutes if both are out - if oly 1 is out he will get less and be more of a GPP play

• Adams has been playing big minutes with Noel out and his price has not caught up to those minutes yet

POR - CJ McCollum - Questionable
• Carmelo and Bazemore get some extra minutes here - Simmons gets more run off the bench if CJ is out

• Trevor Ariza gets a bump here along with Bjelica and Barnes

Danilo Gallinari (right calf contusion) has been ruled out Tuesday's game vs. the Nets.
Frank Vogel says LeBron James is "under the weather" but "hopeful" that he will be able to play Tuesday night vs. the Knicks.
Marcus Morris (sore neck) has been downgraded to doubtful for Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers

For Cash:
Captain: You could go with Ja, Teague or Crowder to save yourself the salary needed to get some studs into your LU. You'll run out of salary very quickly if you go with Wiggins, Joe Val, or JJJ.
For GPPs:
Make sure you get a lot of D. Brooks in your LU as he went for 34 and 40 pts in last meetings.
If you want to use some Joe Val to also be different here, you could stack him with Brandon Clarke at low ownership, especially if JJJ gets in foul trouble.
Captain Mode for NY @ LAL a Fun one!
Captain Options: Lebron or AD depending on confirmation of who plays, or you could stay safe in cash going with Kevin Knox for great value!
GPP: Strongly consider of mix of Lebron AD, Knox, Bullock, and whoever would replace usage and min. if Lebron or even AD sits such as Kuzma, Caruso, Danny Green, Rondo, and KCP. You of course also want to mix in J. Ranle, who is also good for cash.
