Got promoted last year. H2H 16 9 CAT. Keep 3 out 4. Booker, Ayton, JJJ or Middleton. Also, I have 1st pick of rookies/non keepers. What range player would you try to get for Zion? Win now, bottom 3 get demoted.

That's a very tough call. You will probably get a different opinion from everyone.
My recommendation:
Booker for sure (best player in the group)
Ayton for sure (having Rubbio there will help him a ton!)
Toss-up: JJJ or Middleton (base it on how you plan on building out the rest of your lineup)
I think you can get a guy ranked between 12-17 for Zion and the very worst!

For the keepers, are there any penalties or is it just first 4 picks are kept ... ? None of those guys are 1st round values, which makes it tough...

You can decide to not keep any of the 3 players but the pool of non keepers is pretty shallow in a 16 man league. Traditional draft starts after anyone that elects not to keep a player or two or three off current roster picks up non rookie free agents. I have 4.01 which is rookie and remaining free agents number 49 to fill remains roster.
Basically you want to keep anyone ranked above 48, I take it.
I think I'm going Booker, Ayton, JJJ. I think Middleton actually ends this year ranked higher than JJJ, but JJJ will be better longer term, and I assume you could keep guys again down the line?
I’d keep JJJ, Booker, and Ayton. And you definitely want to draft Zion.
