Thinking of pulling the trigger on either of the following:
1. Ayton and Tobias Harris for Conley and CP3; or
2. Ayston, Bledsoe and Aldridge for Conley, CP and Tatum?
I am tanking FG%, boards, blocks and turnovers but should dominate in the other cats if I get this deal done. Thoughts?
Both trades seem pretty fair for the most part.
On the 1st trade, I think it's pretty close, but I lean toward the Ayton/Tobias side. However, if you're punting big man stats, then the guards are the way to go.
On the 2nd trade...gosh, this one is close too, but again if you're trying to build upon your guard stats, the Conley/CP3/Tatum side is probably better for you.
In the end I would just caution against punting 4 categories, as that means you're only competing in 5 categories. So especially if you're in the playoffs, if you miss any one of those categories, your ship is sunk.
So here's the thing. If you wait another 1-2 weeks you'll be able to get so much more for Ayton...
You're tanking 4 categories in a 9 category league? That's...not great.
You have no reason to trade Ayton right now. No way you get solid value for him.
