Okay 12 team, 9 cat, H2H. Which Side do you like?
Anthony Davis
Lou williams
for
James harden
John Wall
Jinkies! That is a monster trade...haha. I'd go with Harden/Wall. If the Clippers go into sell mode (and they just might), I think Lou Will is gone. He wont do these types of numbers on another team, especially if he goes to a contender like CLE.
Thanks for the input B, yeah I'm trying to sell high on Lou after one of the flukiest stats lines I've ever seen (10 steals?!! Previously averaged less than 1 a game), so his value will never be higher than it is right now. I'm worried about him getting traded, plus Anthony Davis' health always concerns me. The other side seems safer, even if maybe the upside isn't as great? I don't know, I'm torn, I welcome any other perspectives for either side!
Davis seems pretty healthy and robust these days, I don't think there's much need for concern there. Let's just say Harden & Davis are both absolute beasts and call that a wash (/ depends on your needs). I also think Lou vs. Wall is a wash - Lou has been considerably better and I don't think the Clippers (/Balmer) want to blow things up, they like to stay competitive and Lou has been key to that with CP3 gone. He's an increasingly good fit for the modern game so I think they just roll with him. I have a feeling he just keeps crushing it until year-end but certainly think he'll be top 40.
Very close one that - there's way more assists on one side but also more TOs and lower FG%, so I'd just make the call based on those factors.
Wall upside is also pretty great, and he is getting closer to his actual value. I'd lean to the Harden/Wall side, but there's the playoffs, and Harden/Wall are more likely to rest than your duo, besides the Clippers schedule that is pretty favorable.
Yeah, this is pretty fair.
If I'm in your shoes I'm trying to sell high on Lou rather than this fairly sideways move.
See if you can move Lou for a top-20 guy. Y'never know.
Ok thanks for the advice. I've haggled with him a bit today and got him to include RoCo.
So is AD, Lou, and ellington for Harden, wall, and Roco enough to move the needle for you? Or you still think i hold off and find something better?
It's better, for sure.
Hm. Yeah, I think I'd probably do it now. RoCo is a vastly superior asset to Ellington.
Man what a shakeup, though. Sheesh.
Cool, done! Yeah I'm trying a little bit different of a strategy this year, I'm paying less attention to category needs right now, in favor of just trying to amass as much top 3 round talent as possible. If i get out of balance, I'm hoping i can just quickly flip a few of those assets a week or 2 before the trade deadline. Thanks for the quality advice as always!
