Is he worth holding onto still now that Lauri has been confirmed as keeping his starting role? Side note is that I dropped Lauri after one week and now regret it a lot.

I'm still holding. Niko can put up big fantasy numbers in 25 mins.

Dan you'd be holding onto him even if he'd lost a leg, I'm not sure you're the most objective on this subject!

Isn't it more like, he can put up serviceable (top 120) numbers in 25 mins, and has top 70 upside in the increasingly unlikely event he gets 30 mins?

I just typed a really nice, long explanation that was lost to the internet void ... damn.

Short version:

Niko has top-50 upside in 30 mins. In 25 mins, he can easily go top-100. Or at least that's what it was going to be to start the year.

After all this crap with Robert Portapotty and Markkanen looking good, who knows what he sees, but if he's back in a week+, we need to at least see what they do.

I largely agree, I'm holding him in about 5 IR slots, I was partly winding you up.

I do think tho with all that's happened and the lack of support for him from the Bulls (relative to Punchy Portis), the chances of 30 or 25 mins have come down a lot. But yeah he's pretty awesome once he gets firing. Had a top 50 stretch late last year. Maybe he's fated to only be useful Jan to March each season.

Hahaha, I did call him Mr. March on a pod last year.

I probably can't hold him that long. Even with my intense love for his game.

Just seems like between his response to what happened and the bulls being pig headed it becomes a terrible situation that no longer favours him.

I’m still on the mirotrain but this is just infruiriating. Like holding onto Butler, or Jrich or chriss.... I think I’m also bitter about not holding onto Lauri.

Do you think it’s likely they’ll move him seeming as they’ve just paid him and he’s still the best player they have at PF?

I think they end up basically forcing him to play. And his agent should really tell him to play because if he gets moved, his situation is almost definitely going to be less open.

Plus, he only signed a 2 year deal. Kid wants to get paid longer term so he needs to stop being a butt and go out there and start chuckin' shots!
