Funny you ask, I'm having the same mental debate right now with same two players. I think I'm going to make the move. Bjelica is definitely trending down, and with news that the Kings might want to play Bagley more, Bjelica is the obvious guy to take a hit. If you were someone in Kings' management, it only makes sense to develop their #2 draft pick and fade Bjelica.

As for Bridges, yeah the biggest question mark is what happens when Ariza comes back, but similar idea here...the Suns are 3-12 and will not be sniffing the playoffs this year, so they have no reason to not develop Bridges. Ariza is 33.

Another thing we can consider is that a lot of people aren't noticing what he's been doing the last few games, which is evidenced by the fact that, as of the time of this post he is currently only the #44 most picked up player of the day in Yahoo! leagues. So unless your league is really active and competitive, there's a pretty good chance he won't get noticed or picked up until he has another good game, or we hear Ariza is out longer than expected.

Bottom line: Bridges is going to have a good amount of duds in his game log, but for rest-of-season value, we should probably be grabbing him.

Update: Mikal has now jumped from the #44 most-added player last night to the #3 most-added player in the few short hours of the day...what a difference a couple hours makes. So, if you want him, you may have to move fast.

Similar topic, so not going to start new thread...but Kyle Anderson vs Bridges ROS value 9 cat? What do people think? I imagine Kyle Anderson has a steady role going forward and would be hard for bridges to surpass...or am I missing the boat?

Argh. I'm so upset Bridges went big. Now we have to pick him up or miss him later. Grumble grumble. Yes, I'd drop Bjelica.

SloMo gets my pick in that second question -- he's producing now and until the end of the year. Bridges could go back to taking a passenger mode for the few more months we're still likely to see Ariza.

Ceiling-wise, how high does bridges actually go? Top 75?

Would you drop E'Twaun Moore to pick up Bridges in a 12-team roto league, despite Moore having a big line tonight and being locked into minutes and usage? I just don't know who else I could drop. My bench is Mitchell Robinson, Kris Dunn, and Will Barton (no IR in this league), and there's just no one else who's a remotely plausible drop. Moore's been great but I just have a hard time believing he keeps up a 50+ FG% forever, and that's all that's really propping up his value. Gotta believe Mikal has a higher ceiling, right?
