I was offered Lavine/Horford for Melo/Gortat. Should I pull the trigger?
Note: My current centers are Gortat/Boban. (Yes, it's that bad...haha)
Oooooooh, man.
I feel like I'd make that trade even without Lavine. Melo is a top-60 guy and Gortat top-100; Horford top-40, maybe higher if things break right. Getting LaVine almost makes it tougher for me, because now I have to worry about his roster spot...
Make the trade asap!

Other guys team is: CP3, Oladipo, Fultz, Simmons, Davis, Blake, Horford, Skal, Beverley, LaVine, Wesley Matt, Moz, KCP.
Note: I'd already tried to pry guys like Dipo/Simmons, but no luck.
Looks like your weakest categories are fg% and pts. Horford should provide almost same value in defense numbers to both Melo and Gortat combined, which is ridiculous. You'll lose out heavy on pts since it's already a weak cat for you.
However, if LaVine returns earlier than projected, he'll be more than enough to make up for it in pts. Also, Melo is an unknown to me this year, as much as LaVine is. I highly doubt he'll beat his last season rank of top 60, also not sure if he'll get traded during the year.. if so, to what team? At least if LaVine returns early, I know he's gonna be a monster on a dead Bulls roster.
So because of all this, I would lean towards accepting this trade, but I just don't like to gamble on injury related situations. Horford is a ton of value, and he should be able to string you along til LaVine returns.

Thanks guys. I had leaned on pulling the trigger, but needed some objective guys since I hadn't owned or wasn't a particular fan of any of the guys offered or received...haha. I'm probably higher on Melo than most, but that's just me. Hopefully, the guys in the group don't veto the deal. First trades in a league always bring out the haters..haha.
Leftee, I know scoring will be an issue. I'm hoping Hield/Prince/Ingram approach 16ppg now that they're starters with a year under their belt. I've informed all three that they can be easily replaced if someone on the waiver wire gets hot...haha.
