Just another reason to avoid 'em all!

I will, of course, discuss on Monday's pod.

I was okay with drafting PG around 20 before this Melo trade. Now, I'm not as sold on it. Despite that, I think he still should hover around the 20 mark, as I still can't see any of his stats dropping that much from last year. I mean, 23.7/6.6/3.3 with 2.6 3s, 1.6 STLs, at 46% from the field, and 90% from the line. I think pretty much all his numbers should stay the same, with a slight dip in FT%, but that was gonna happen with or without Melo.

On the flipside, I think Melo might actually rank up a bit in my own personal rankings from 68 to 58. I think with having a capable distributor in Westbrook, Melo should find better shots, so I think he's gonna become more efficient from the field from 43% to 45.5%. Perhaps he'll increase in boards from 5.9 to like 6.7 if Westbrook takes a step back from all the unnecessary rebounding. I think that might be enough to jump him up a round or so.

For Westbrook.. now he's got 2 capable stars with him. His points should take quite a dip, but I can see his ASTs staying the same or even increasing slightly. His rebounding should definitely plummet from 10.7 to probably 6.2-ish. He might increase in efficiency overall, so I think he becomes a better balanced fantasy option. I think he might actually go up in value now because of this balance, and I might wanna take him at 5-6 now (previously 6-9) in 9 cat. There was also the PRP news the other day which is concerning in terms of health.. so have to keep an eye out for that.

I'm also very interested in how the values change for the Knicks. Where does Kristaps and THJr rank now? Does Enes Kanter start? Any value to Doug McDermott?
