What do you guys think here? Would you take him over Steven Adams?? I get pre-season is w/e but he was honestly so disappointing with many expecting him to break out given new coach and role. Seems like it will take time for him to ramp and get comfortable but im optimistic.
Sure, give him a look over Adams. Adams you will get a higher floor and hes a safer pick. Carter you will get the upside. Donovan seems committed to him and is going to give him the old college try, and all the opportunity is there for him.
However, the fantasy community seems pretty uniform on a bounce back post hype deal for Wendell, but I'll just put a little water on that fire. The bulls have so many mouths to feed, and where would you put Carter on the pecking order in that offense? So if hes going to have value IMO, its going to be defensively. I personally don't see the great season that many are predicting, FWIW.
TLDR- safe pick with higher floor? Adams. Gambling man higher upside? Wen-Dell.
