Thoughts on his outlook?
Tough to imagine him comepting for this kind of volume when their lead guy (Aldridge) comes back. Maybe he's earned himself some more consistant minutes going forward but I'm not moving on him.
Agree with Alan, he's thrived in some garbage time too though... have to see it happen a couple more times to even think about him.
A hard hold depending on league size and roster slots.
Spurs are 2-2-3-3 weekly schedule through 12/29
I'm a big spurs fan and every one has been clamoring for more LWIV, but Pop just refuses to play young guys consistently. Kudos to pop for rolling with him tonight, but the spurs got Down 22, so it was almost a last resort to even put him in. Plus no Aldridge as mentioned above, and faced a rockets team that never plays 2 bigs, so pop went the smallest ive ever seen him go in 25 years following the team (2 pgs,2 Sgs, and a center). Plus it went 2 ot's and he benched Gay and white down there stretch, 2 big minute contributors. Basically I'm saying it was a perfect storm and took a lot of unusual factors for him to see that kind of run. He is an absolute stud and, along with Dejounte, probably the future of the organization, but I will be thrilled if he can carve out 15-20 minutes a night of consistent run moving forward, which probably isn't enough to merit ownership in 12 team leagues. But keep an eye out if the spurs move Derozan/Aldridge and decide to to full youth movement in the next couple of months..
