12 teams H2H 11cat (9cat + OREB, FGM)
i already have jokic, myles turner and conley. kinda low in points and FGM. should i trade Otto for klay and who got the better ROS outlook?
In a league that favors shots made, Klay gets a little boost. That's a pretty fair trade, though in standard 9-cat Otto may have the slightly better ROS ... with your categories, it's about even.
the thing is i already have seth curry stashed... im hoping he would help me in points and FGM a lilttle which im really struggling. should i just wait for seth before making a move?
Seth's stress injury is a weird one. He might be back in 2 days or 2 months. I hate those types of stuff.
so finally decided to trade myles turner/teague for KP/thj to bolster my FGM/POINTS then picked up jamychal and frank Ntilikina off the waiver. what you guys think?
i know KP is injury prone but thats the risk im willing to take right now. sad really...
Hm. I still think you're selling low oN Myles.
i really hate to think about it but i dont think turner will do much on his scoring in a consistent basis mainly because of dipo's breakout and sabonis showing up. i was very high on turner but now im convinced that his cieling might take a hit a little bit. my only concern bout KP really is his health... kinda like AD.
i probably wont do that trade if it was a standard 9cat league.
I'm with Dan. Myles gonna ball.
im still holding on turner in my other 9cat leagues... just this one.
I'm really worried about KP going down for an extended point in the season. I'm in the minority it looks like, but I'm on your side. I think KP/THJ for Myles/Teague is a good move. Myles' big draw is his blocks. He came in last year at 2.5 and KP was at 2.0 if I recall. I could see Myles' blocks actually coming down this year, as he'll be a focal point of the offense, so they'll want him to be a little more careful on the defensive end of the court. Then Porzingis offers a lot more 3-pointers and loads more scoring (though he might be at his peak right now). Porzingis also gives you very good, high-volume free throws. Myles is solid at 80% last year, but KP has the volume advantage.
THJ/Teague...ehh...close with maybe more value coming from Teague in assists, but THJ has more scoring opportunities and good steals.
IF KP stays healthy (and it's a big IF in my book), I think you made a good move, but like lots of solid guys in the first few rounds (Anthony Davis, Joel Embiid, Kawhi, Isaiah), it's risk vs reward, and sometimes taking the big risk can be what pays out and makes the difference in the playoffs and championship (if you're playing H2H).
if theres any consolation (heaven forbid) on KP going down at least THJ is somewhat of insurance.
